Stressing! I am applying to MDC RN prgrm for the fall of 08 with a 3.2 and will be taking my last two pre reqs over the summer and GPA will be a 3.5 once i'm done with the summer semester. Not exactly sure how they will decide on whether or not to accept me but I'M TOTALLY ANXIOUS! (have not even turned in my application yet) LoL Someone, ANYONE, pls HELP! There is all this talk about how difficult it is to get into the prgrm and NOW i'm worried i'm not going to get accepted!:uhoh3:
Don't worry Tiff, I can understand your frustration, but I'm sure once the program gets underway things will smooth out.
YSB, I got my books and top today. Yay!! Four of my classes have been added to my schedule. So far, I've got all the ones that I picked that day. I think the only one left to be added is the Skills Lab.
Hey Bumblebee! We are so excited. I already bought the books, and I am already reading them. you were right...very different from what I have seen before.
I am very happy for you all!!
there is a book for beginning nursing students by Nuggent (not 100% sure) that is really great. It gives you tips on how to answer those critical thinking questions and helps you out on when you are stuck between 2 right answers.
in nursing school you will have your exams where you have to pick the best out of 4 possible right answers... and this book helps you out on how to pick down to two and then the right answer-
I used it for the first semester and it helped me!
I will look for it, then post it on here.

i just got the letter from Baptist telling me that I got in their program.
I wish I were more excited about it, but the roller coaster I've been on has made me numb. Francois is really really nice, Sue was one that was rude to me.
I'm just so over this... I want to buy my books already and I have to wait for Baptist to give MDC the "okay" for the book advance. UUUGHHHH Hopefully I'll be happier after the orientation on Monday.... :zzzzz
