Stressing! I am applying to MDC RN prgrm for the fall of 08 with a 3.2 and will be taking my last two pre reqs over the summer and GPA will be a 3.5 once i'm done with the summer semester. Not exactly sure how they will decide on whether or not to accept me but I'M TOTALLY ANXIOUS! (have not even turned in my application yet) LoL Someone, ANYONE, pls HELP! There is all this talk about how difficult it is to get into the prgrm and NOW i'm worried i'm not going to get accepted!:uhoh3:
I pray that it will be the case, but along with the praying I am ready to kill myself through the process. Late night studying...give it to me. If it means I am going to get the point B (helping patients) I am in.
This is MY calling. I am here to help people in their time of need. When they are sick, when they are not, I am here to help in those hard times, and sometimes it is difficult to know what you are here for. It's nice that we know why we are here, and yes we have to work hard to get there, but we are willing to go through it, in order to help. That's special. I don;t know that everyone knows just why they are here.
So let's keep helping eachother out so that we can make this tough ride as smooth as possible. They need us out there! They really do. What a great feeling.

I am sorry, I've looked all over and I don't find how to send you a private message, I've asked for help I think something is wrong with my account...I hope you get to read this...
I already have the books and uniforms (I bought an extra jacket), I went to the book store last monday, the were having some trouble with the computers, but after a wile they got to give me everything, thank's God! That same day I bought the shoes, I didn't do it in the Medical Campus Book Store, because it's too expensive, close here @ US 1 and 62, in a store named "Uniforms" they have nurse shoes, uniforms, stetoscopes, clogs, everything and they have a special sale untill agust 31, you should go!! I got the shoes and it cost me $39.99!!! you have to show your student ID and they give you a discount.
I hope you get to have your books on time, :) don't worry you still have three weeks to get everything done.
Hey! do you know if they are going to give us the stetoscope?
Really hope you read this... if you do so, write me back please.

Hey YSB,
Thanks for the tip. I will definitely be checking out that store. I don't know about the stethoscopes though. I wonder if one comes in that kit they give us...I can't believe I still have another orientation to attend, I just want to be done with the running around and just start, haha. I'll go and get my books and uniform sometime this week.

I agree with you about anatomy, people said it was going to be hard but to me it was cake as long as I did my part. it was my fav subject!! Nothing good in life comes easy, we just have to want it enough to work for it. It was already a little visible during orientation those who might not make it thru, just by their extreme lack of interest. We have been dedicated to this program since we put our apps in, and helping each other cope thru all the stress... As far as I'm concerned we WILL be a part of the graduating class.
