Hi everyone! I am so excited that application season for 2015 is finally here. I am new to this board, but read several threads last year and learned a lot in preparation for my own applications. It would be great to hear from others who are in the same boat this year. :)
I have a BA in History, but have completed most of my pre-req's at PCC. My cumulative GPA is only 3.46, but my pre-req's will be a 4.0 (provided this Fall term continues to go well...) My top choice is UP, partly because I work for Providence and would love to continue to work for them as a nurse one day. I would also LOVE to go to OHSU of course! I am also applying to Linfield, PCC and possibly CCC. I am curious to hear which programs people are applying for. Such an exciting time to be moving towards our career goals!
Had my essay at PCC yesterday morning. They gave us earplugs if we wanted any, and I didn't hear the lady tell us we had five minutes left and I was totally in the zone. Good thing I had many of my points laid out already, though! I still feel good about it =) Excited to hear back the week of May 11!
Hey everyone! I'm so excited/anxious about this years application process! This will be my second year applying. I have the proctored essay with Chemeketa on the 11th and an interview with Clackamas on the 22nd. For those who applied to Clackamas what do your points look like? I have a 3.8 GPA and have 55.88/64 points with CCC. Good luck all!
I have 54 points and a 4.0 pre-req GPA with CCC. I'm not sure about PCC... I don't remember! Good luck!
How do you think you did? I had both my CCC and MHCC interviews today. I really liked CCCs format and even though the essay question was kind of hard (in my opinion), I was happy with it! I felt comfortable and would look forward to being admitted there. MHCC on the other hand - I was less than impressed with the interview process. Meh...
The essay prompt was so difficult! I think I did alright I just didn't have so much to say. The interview was difficult because I don't think I said anything that would make me standout in just the four questions. Esp since only 1 out of 5 is getting in. Did they mention when they'll let us know? I think I remember them saying mid-may but I also that I read online that it would be beginning of May.
