I'm taking A&P I this summer I and microbiology in summer II session. I want to do this to help out in my admission process. I 'm taking A&P II now and so far, I'm doing great!
I have my bone lecture test on Tues or Wed. I've changed my study routine and I feel much more confident about it than I did the first test. I am reading the book and taking notes on notecards as I read. I was highlighting as I read and that just wasn't getting absorbed. Then I go through the lecture notes and highlight my notecards and add to them as needed.
It's odd though. There are several sections in the lecture notes that aren't in the book at all. She elaborates on some things more than the book and less on other things.
So now I will study my notecards and look over illustrations/diagrams. I'll play on some websites and see how well I'm absorbing this information.
i loved the bones, mot quite so in love with muscle though! lol!, my favorit part of ap1 was the\
: beggining DNA, CELL STRUCTURE, O-CHEM... and
then the bones and joints, (not quite that in love with intergumentary or muscles lol, even though i did well on them)
starting ap-2 tomorrow,
BTW guyss, i think a whole buncho of us are going to take ap2 soon!
Congrats Carlos on your high percentage for A&P 1!!
I'm hoping to do as well as you did in the class. We are currently on muscles and I've got a lot of studing ahead of me.
I got B's on my bones lecture and lab exam. Although it isn't what I wanted but i'm still doing pretty well in the class. Just a few more weeks and A&P1 will be over.
I will be starting A&P 2 at the end of August for the fall semester. Hopefully everything will go as smoothly as planned.
Keep on studing everyone!
Had a quiz today in A&P1. Missed 1! Woohoo!! So happy about that one!
Carlos - That's really fast for the exam on Nervous tissue. Your classes have got to be at an accelerated rate! Good luck on your exam!
I just got home from work, it's almost midnight here. After i'm done checking emails and looking up more information on the muscles, i'll be hitting the books for a couple of hours before going to bed.
Wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing!
Got a 93 on my lab practical, one of the highest grades in the class.
So I have a solid A in the class right now. 93 on the last lecture exam, 93 on the first lab practical, 100s on all lab reports and quizes so far.
We are studying nervous tissue now. Lots of information. If anyone has any good study links please post them!

Congrats, Carlos! That's quite an accomplishment.
I just took big exam 2 and got 105 (the 5 points was extra credit). I have my first practical exam on July 1. It shouldn't be so bad. We've been studying the bones up close and personal for like 2 weeks now.
Again, congratulations on your A.
