Anyone taking A&P I this summer 08

i had to drop Math today, but doing great still in ap... my average is a 96, I just couldnt keep up with Math and Eng 101. i doing great in English too. 28.5 out of 30 so far... Math was great in the beginning, but now i am down to a 71 and it was slipping fast. I spoke to my Professor, i still have time to drop it and just take it again in the fall. I am disappointed in myself for not being able to handle another class, but cant dwell on it now. i have bones on Thursday, its by picture only and must 'write" in the blanks...

I am VERY tired, i tried to salvage Math last nite by pullling an alll nighter to catch up, but I just could not absorb the concepts anymore. I am going to sleep and then tonight working on AP.

congrats Carlos, you are doing REAL good. I am not working fulltime, I work from home on call and still couldnt keep up. So keep your chin up.

I need a new plan for the fall, but cant think of nothing but bones for the next couple of days.

i got a 82% on my test today, it was way too much info for the short time, plus we only had 25 points i missed only 2 questions and got somewhat screwed with a B, but that is ok!

we have THE SPINAL CORD/SPINAL NERVES/SOMATIC REFLEXES test tomorrow, a lot of info, but i got them down!

carlos - you did great for only having one day to study for that exam!! i'm just amazed at how fast you are going through a&p2. i don't know if i could handle that much pressure. kudos to you!! good luck tomorrow on your test!

got a 93 on my lab practical, one of the highest grades in the class.
so i have a solid a in the class right now. 93 on the last lecture exam, 93 on the first lab practical, 100s on all lab reports and quizes so far.
we are studying nervous tissue now. lots of information. if anyone has any good study links please post them!

dancin' with ya gentylwind! you are doing fabulous!!! i have a muscles exam next week so this entire weekend is devoted to muscles!! no fireworks for me on friday..lol guess i will have to make my own!:chuckle

I had nervous tissue in A&P1 - I hated it!!
Good luck - not that you need it!

I loathe tissues! I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to get it!

Now, the endocrine system & hormones, I can recite in my sleep... & I actually do. :chuckle

I start this class for my 5 week summer course tomorrow! :) only thing is I'm really angry that my textbook is very late. I ordered it on the 23rd online (way cheaper) and it was shipped the 24th with a shipping time frame of 2-3 business days. The damn thing still isn't here!I hope I don't need it tomorrow!

I am taking A and P now(summer 08) and I can tell you I never EVER want to take another class as involved as this one for summer!! Half of me likes getting it over so quickly but the other half spend 4-8 hours a DAY studying just to keep up :banghead: !! It goes so quickly!! Thank goodness it is one more class under my belt so I can finish all these BS classes and FINALLY get into nursing school!!

I got an 100% on today exam on bones and joints. He gave us an entire week to study instead of the normal 2 to 3 days. It really made a difference. I was much more relaxed. And remember Math, well because I sounded so determined my professor is giving me until the 10th of this month to catch up. Yea... so I have to get off the internet and get to math. oh and got a D on my paper in English which brought my grade to a b-, so I have to ace the next two papers to get an A out of that class. I go on call for work at 5p (right now) and the moon is not full (I have psych patients), the teen children can have burgers on the grill, sooo its smooth studying until evening!!

I'm very pleased with my bone lab test that I just took. I got a 90. I was surprised at how easy it really was. But I studied SOOO much because she didn't give us much of a study guide.

Way to go everyone!!!

I have 2 weeks left in a&p 1 and then start a&p2 at the end of August. So that will give me 3 weeks off before fall semester starts. I'm definitely ready for a break.

Keep on studing!!
