good luck on your exam!! i'm sure you will do very well. we just started on the nervous system, reflexes, taste, hearing, etc.

have an exam in a week on 5 chapters..ugh..the pressure!

Yeah, I have 7 tests/quiz between now and Aug 5th. I'm really not happy that my comprehensive final will be the day after my last test. I was hoping for more time to go back and review.

We are working on muscles. I have my muscle lecture test on Thurs and my muscle lab on Mon. Then nerves lecture on Thurs. WOW!! Yeah I'm trying to just take it a little at a time so I don't get completely overwhelmed.

We are kind of lucky in that our comprehensive final exam is optional and will replace your lowest test score if you do decide to take it. I don't know why anyone would NOT take it...can't hurt, might help. I wish he would allow us to use it to replace a lab practical. I have made nothing but As so far on the important stuff and all but one quiz last week, which I somehow managed to fail. He does drop the lowest quiz grade, so technically I still have an A, but it was enough to scare the bejeezus out of me. :uhoh21:

Gotta learn to control my nerves better.

Can you guys tell me what format you followed for classes? For example.....bones,tissues,nerves,muscles,etc? I have started studying ealry for fall classes.

Thanks!

We did chemistry, cells, tissue, bones, muscles, then nerves.

But the Itunes lecture I listen to does muscles last. Do you know what book you'll be using?

I asked about the book today....they are coming out w/a new edition. Cost is over $200 and a $100 Lab book but both will be good for A&P 2 as well.....

Can you tell me where the itunes lectures are....I have never really visited itunes....sad, isn't it? LOL

Yes. I went to the Itunes store and typed in Anatomy and Physiology. The lecture is from East Tennessee State University, which is where I plan on completing my RN-BSN.

I take my classes online so this was a HUGE help on my last test. I could kick myself for not using it on the first 2 tests. He has a really distinctive voice that I can hear when I'm taking my test and studying. I listen to him in the car and at home when my eyes are just too strained to read. I also use the video lectures from this website.

My textbook also has a companion website that has been really helpful, hopefully yours will, too.

Thanks so much.....this is exactly what I need.

I am SOOO upset right now. I have my class online, so the quizzes are timed. Well today's quiz is muscles, which are kicking my Gluteus maximus. so I am rounding the corner of time, I have about 50 seconds left and I am "guessing" about the peristalsis.... you know the whole tube and lenght and circular really mess me up. so I'm guessing but its okay because I KNOW i got the other 14 questions right. I run out of time, but i'm thinking its okay, because the computer will just take the answers I have already, right? WRONG! the computer didnt save ANYTHING... because I ran out of time, i didnt push the save button and nothing was saved. Because its a quiz the answers are saved as one, not indiviually. I just failed a 15 point quiz that I knew the answers to 14 questions! :banghead: I had no idea when you ran out of time if the saved button is not pushed ahead of time you lose everything. on the Exams, you save each question individually, but you cant do that on the quiz. My professor was like, oh welll next time you know better. oh and the ONE question I guessed about, I got it right! I would have had an 100... and I wish I can say this would be my lowest grade but early on I got 9/15 which was my lowest. I am just soooo frustrated. I want an A sooo badly and might lose it all over stupid, stupid mistakes.

Meh. I got an 87 on the exam. Not what I would have hoped for, but it was the 6th highest grade in the class and the class average was an 82, so I scored respectably in that regard. I still have an A for the class, but would have preferred more breathing room than this test gave me. Onward to the lab practical tomorrow night.
