Anyone here did the pearson vue trick and were charged $200, and still passed?

I just finished my exam earlier, then I did the PVT. I followed the PVT trick process, putting in my credit card information. Unfortunately, the payment went through.

I was just still hoping and possibly in denial stage right now that I failed. Reaching out to the community to see if anyone experienced this kind of situation, but passed?

The wealth of misinformation out there is stunning.

The NCLEX is a national exam. It is the SAME exam regardless of what State you take it in. It is up to each individual Board of Nursing in each State to determine whether you will get a license in that State, and different States do have different requirements. You don't need to repeat the NCLEX anywhere simply to get another license (endorsement to your license) but you DO have to meet the criteria for licensing.

Actually, too, it depends on how one received his/her license as an RN or LPN as to whether they can work ANYWHERE else in the country: California has allowances for challenging the exam without having graduated from an approved program; that license is only valid in California. So.....there most certainly are restrictions, depending on the circumstances of original licensure.

It's actually kinda funny that anyone would declare that any one State has "the hardest testing", it's much like saying it also has the wettest water ;) Same stuff everywhere!

I can tell you for sure when I was on Florida for spring break they sure have the wettest water there :saint:

I had a friend that did the trick , charged his credit card but yes he had already passed, he had a lot of red tape to go through to get his money back ,I am not sure he did.

Hi! Reading this gives me a lot of hope... I took my exam yesterday, took all 265, and I felt horrible about it. I did the trick and it took my money, I was devastated. But today I'm having hope still that I passed! So your friend passed and it took his money?!?

Yes, a question did you get a lot of calculation questions? If so you most likely didn't pass

I only got 2 calculation questions

have you find out if you pass?

I did end up failing, so the trick does work

So what happened?? You promised you would updates us.

Hi today I took my Nclex today (all 265?) and immediately after I came home and tried this PVT test. After reading hours of reviews I did do it correctly and I took the gamble in going through two "submit" pages and risking $200. They did process my transaction and I received a email saying there will be another email coming to me shortly with my ATT. Does this officially mean I failed??? Like you all the anxiety is killing me and unfortunetly I need to wait about 45 more hours 🙄🙄🙄

Did you!?

I am praying this is what happened to me.. praying so hard

One of the big things is waiting long enough for your results to get processed. There is the original computer scoring, then a second scoring. You need to wait 24 hours until after you have taken the NCLEX for the second set of results. Some of the people who have passed but paid checked too soon.

Yes I paid The $200

And failed. The Pvt does most deffinetly

Work. Originally I did the Kaplan program and they refunded me the $300 I paid for since I did fail. I'm located in New York and just took my Nclex for the second time and PASSED! I can not stress enough how much the program ready to pass has prepared me. I felt like a whole new person going into that test. Yes I was scared and had some ptsd from the last but... I PASSED. Every single question I had the info was from that class. It was a inclass session for 5 days for $500 and worth every single dollar. Keep your head up and take a few days off and then look for some new ways to start studying. I am 100% not a computer person when it comes to studying. I need to highlight and make index cards and ask questions to real

Live people, and that's what ready to pass helped me With. Just rmemeber this test does NOT define the nurse you are! Keep your head up and study hard, you will pass :)
