Anyone Here Pay $200 Dollars Still Passed?

Nursing Students NCLEX Nursing Q/A

Anyone here did the pearson vue trick and were charged $200, and still passed?

I just finished my exam earlier, then I did the PVT. I followed the PVT trick process, putting in my credit card information. Unfortunately, the payment went through.

I was just still hoping and possibly in denial stage right now that I failed. Reaching out to the community to see if anyone experienced this kind of situation, but passed?

Sorry to hear that I'm waiting for my results I went 205 questions how many questions did you take ? I kind of feel like maybe I failed to what state are you in also

I was really confused, i ended up 75 questions, i got 13 satas, computation, prioritization and delegation but i failed i dont know why. i am from texas but my bon is in new york. how was your exam? hope you pass

I feel a 50/50 chance some where extremely hard questions some where not easy but not hard in the middle , and I got about 12-15 select all that apply I know I got the last question of the test wrong. Also non of the stuff that I went to review classes during the week ends was on my test so it was a waste of time. I don't feel like it's fair that they have a 10k question test bank there is no way of studying and I'm from California and I been told by rns and lvns that California has the hardest testing that's why if you pass on California you can take your license any where in the USA with out having to retake the tests or take extra classes I just hope I passed

Hi guys i just took my boards today i stopped at 135 questions and curious about if i pass or failed in 2 hours time frame i did the trick and it accept my payment :sorry: does this means i failed?

People need to stop doing the trick and just wait for your results I know of 3 people who did that and where sure they failed and paid then results come in the mail and they passed and won't get their money back plz people stop being dumb and just wait for your results

oh okay. i hope you pass sir. tell me how did you study?you planning to move from other state?

sir, just wait for your result. best thing to do.

Well to begin with I was a 3.5 student while I'm nursing school, and after school was over my school offered review classes for free sat and Sunday's 8 hours each day so I went to those me and like 3 other people went out of 18 people in the class by the way all the people who did not go to the review classes flunked the test and also while at work on my one hour lunch I would go to my car and read my books and I plan on staying in California it's the highest pay for nurses lol my friend with out experience straight out of school applied at kaiser and got in and they started her at 27.50$ an hour

The wealth of misinformation out there is stunning.

The NCLEX is a national exam. It is the SAME exam regardless of what State you take it in. It is up to each individual Board of Nursing in each State to determine whether you will get a license in that State, and different States do have different requirements. You don't need to repeat the NCLEX anywhere simply to get another license (endorsement to your license) but you DO have to meet the criteria for licensing.

Actually, too, it depends on how one received his/her license as an RN or LPN as to whether they can work ANYWHERE else in the country: California has allowances for challenging the exam without having graduated from an approved program; that license is only valid in California. So.....there most certainly are restrictions, depending on the circumstances of original licensure.

It's actually kinda funny that anyone would declare that any one State has "the hardest testing", it's much like saying it also has the wettest water ;) Same stuff everywhere!

Have you already failed the test the maximum amount of times in Texas, and that's why you applied for a NY BoN license? If so......the reason you failed is the same reason you have failed previously.

If you failed in 75 questions, that says that you really have a significant issue you need to work on, as that's the minimum number of questions, and that's all it took to determine you weren't going to pass that day.

Take a look at the CPR, see what it says. More than likely, given the relatively few number of questions you got, you need to work on content, basic nursing knowledge, and go from there. You cannot pass the exam without getting to the higher level questions (application of knowledge) and at 75....you just weren't there.

Good luck next time!
