I also graduate in December and this summer break is going to be so hard...I just want to get done, take the boards and start working as a nurse already!
And, yes, it's so hard to hear the people graduating in May talk about graduating! I'm happy for them but jealous that they are almost done!
On one hand, I am totally fed up with my nursing program and feel like clinicals at this point are a waste of everyone's time, so I just want to enter the workforce where I can really learn. On the other hand, I feel like nursing school so far has been nothing but a broad overview, therefore I am not really prepared for real-life nursing, and from that perspective, December is so close. Either way, it's gonna be a long, hard summer of tech work...
I graduate in December and I finally feel like I can see the end result of these past 4 years! However, I have senioritis REALLY bad! I am tired of the studying, and even though I like clinicals alright I feel i am ready to be a nurse and really learn. Instead of class 4 hours a day a few times a week i would gladly go 10 hours a day and get dome in a few months...tired of dragging this out!!! But hang in there, we will be getting pinned before you know it!
I graduate in December as well. I go to a nights program and we have summer classes so by the time December gets here I will have done 10 straight semesters of school (a whole 3 years and 4 months!). I am SOOO over school at this point and ready to be done. We just got our summer and fall schedules and I felt like crying, ok honestly I DID cry. lol I feel like they're testing us...you only get to graduate IF you can live through this schedule. A few of the people that started are program switched over to the accelerated day program last year so they graduate in four weeks. SOOOOOOO jealous!
