Anyone else wearing old scrubs whilst shopping/running errands?

So lately I have been wearing sets of scrubs I no longer wear on the floor, while running errands, especially when shopping.

I have gained quite a few pounds since I've started working as a nurse ? so nothing fits me anymore LOL. I've bought a few new clothes for special occasions , but my old scrubs still fit me , so I use them when running errands.

I often run into co-workers: oh , are you going to work,?? (They think I PRN elsewhere). I most often say yes LOL. It's embarrassing. But I feel so so comfy in my scrubs!

Please tell me I not alone! ?

Hmmm... that's a new one I never thought of. When I was working, I used to wear my tiaras on my birthday and Halloween. Princess for a Day!

Pts loved it!

I wear old scrubs around the house. Seems I cannot function without my pockets, and to agree with you, they are very comfortable. But I do not wear them in public, especially now that everyone is worried about cross-contamination from COVID.

Not the same as wearing scrubs in public.  Who could not smile at seeing a tiara?  It would make my day better!

I just have to give you props for reviving the word "whilst" in your title...

Scrubs are my yoga pants. ? I typically wear scrub pants and a t-shirt while working, and I work from home. If people want to think I am contaminated, great! They can stay further away from me.

I do wear scrubs on normal days and to do occasional errand but never after work and my scrubs don't realy look like scrubs. They are a high end product that actually have the appearance of mid to high end leisure-ware . The brand is called Fitscrubs and they are great confortable as well.

I checked these out.  They are cute and so expensive I'd feel obligated to wear them out for dinner- whenever that comes back.  However, so much polyester:(
