Anyone else starting RN-to-BSN on 7/1?

In addition to the message board and other resources on the WGU student portal, I was hoping to meet and chat with other RN-to-BSN students who also will be starting on 7/1 to see how you're getting prepared and to keep in contact once classes start.

I'm also hopeful for a 7/1 start! Still trying to get money together! I applied for the RN to MSN leadership track. I have a previous bachelors so I am praying my coursework for the BSN won't be too heavy. My goal is to complete everything in 2 years.

schnookimz- I am starting witht he RN - BSN, but with the thought of switching to RN - MSN if this learning platforms works well for me. The only other hesitation I have is that I really would like to get my MSN in informatics instead of education/leadership. So I am hopping that they may add an informatics track, or I might consider an MSN in informatics elsewhere.

Looks like ill be dropping back to an 8/1 start due to transcripts taking a long time to get there!! Oh well, as long as I get to start, it's fine with me!!!!!

Well, I may be joining you in that 8/1 start date. I'm still trying to decide if I want August or September, that is if everything works out, lol...I just took the readiness test and I have requested my transcripts, so we will wait and see. I'm hoping my transcripts arrive to them early this week. I know they have one which was electronic, but waiting on the others.

Me too for 8/1 instead of 7/1. I wonder if they are holding transcripts on purpose? I had my transcripts sent to 3 schools at the same time. The other 2 schools received everything by last Wednesday. But not WGU.....

I'm hoping to start 8/1 as well. I'm a new grad ASN though, so I have to take the NCLEX and start my first job before I can actually start... But I should have all that done by July 15th. I've already sent in my transcripts and all that. I was originally thinking RN-MSN leadership tract, but I can't really decide and may just start out RN-BSN and go from there.
