Ok y'all, I have a confession to make...I AM ADDICTED TO ALLNURSES.COM!!!

I want each any everyone of you to know that I appreciate your views, opinions, questions and concerns that you post on this board. I have learned so much from you all. Thank you for your insights into the nursing profession. You all truely are angels on earth!

I'd have to say I'm sort of addicted. All day at work when I don't have much to do I'm reading the threads. Sometimes I'm so destracted on what I'm reading I forget what I'msupposed to be saying when I answer the phone. Then I laugh about it when I'm finnished.

Everytime I see this thread at the top, I think, I need to reply to that thread but do I really want to admit it? YES, I am addicted to this BB and no others. I have yet to go into withdrawals while out of town though. This BB is great and being able to learn from others experiences and get thier opinions. Thanks everybody!

Oh yeah, I am definitely addicted. I have to take vacations from this BB every now and then so I can do other things in my life other than sit in front of the computer for hours on end.

Hey Hey All,

I just joined today and I can see myself already a shameless victime. he he I have been lurking for a few days and decided to join so I guess I just jumped into the pot of boiling water ouch ouch ouch hehe. Hopefully I will have tons of fun and I hope to learn from many of the older nurses here.

Oh, yes!

I jump from this forum to another one that is more bent to politics and current events.

I'm a nurse's aid right now and hope to pass the CNA test in May. But I would like to get into nursing and am taking pre-requisite courses at a local community college.

Many times when I read threads about patients and procedures, I feel like I'm reading Greek, but I do so to become acquainted with the profession's language.

I am very grateful to have found this forum and AllNurses.com.
