Anyone else addicted?

Ok y'all, I have a confession to make...I AM ADDICTED TO ALLNURSES.COM!!!

I want each any everyone of you to know that I appreciate your views, opinions, questions and concerns that you post on this board. I have learned so much from you all. Thank you for your insights into the nursing profession. You all truely are angels on earth!

I think it's healthy for us to put our own needs ahead of the dishes and laundry. maybe we all shouldn't be thinking of this as an addiction, but as giving ourselves permission to take a break from caring for others at work and at home.

:roll I am also "addicted" to this place. I think it's b/c it's the 1 place where we can gripe about things, and ask others opinions w/o having those you work with.....you know give you "that look"..... what you mean you have NEVER been given THE LOOK????? OMG... but alas I am happy to say that I enjoy coming here when I am able to stay up after work each nite. Oh and admitting we have a problem is the 1 st step. Laura LPN

Definitely! And thank goodness for all the friends I have found who totally understand every single thing we are going through..I can't remember how I found the site but am thankful for being directed here. Might as well be addicted to something positive!

There is hope for the computer-impaired, I got my picture up after some unsuccessful attempts. Now that we've posted our pictures over the internet there's a thread about being recognized by one's co-workers.... I'm still addicted... This is one of my favorite sites....

I am not addicted, nuh huh! Just because allnurses is set as my home page doesn't mean I am addicted, or checking 3+ times a day doesn't mean anything. This site is educational! That's my excuse and I am sticking to it, Just because I will go without chocolate or my morning coffee to read the boards means nothing!!
