Do you know anyone who had 85 questions on the NCLEX_PN test and didnt pass?
Thank you both for replying back. I went from being happy, to being in denial, then I couldn't sleep at all last night.
You asked where I plan on working... Well, most people tell me to go for Med-Surg because that is where I will obtain alot of experience and skills, but my heart lies with the elderly and disabled children. I have a huge soft heart, and my friends who are nurses think I am absolutely crazy for wanting to go into that field.
A nice drink sounds good about now. :)
Hi Dokkskie
I pray that you pass. I know it's frustrating and stressful waiting for your results of the test. It took me only 2 days until I found out, I wish other states were as fast as Oklahoma when it comes to the results. I just knew I had failed the test, I could feel it down to my bones that I failed, and I surprised myself. I guess everyone assumes they failed. You will be in my prayers..
Congrats Shellee, I hope I passed my nclex-pn 85 questions that i took last aug 25. I will find out sooner or later
It's been 6 1/2 years ago now but my test turned off at 85 questions. I left feeling optimistic. I was surprised at how easy it seemed to me. 2 weeks later I got the results and I had passed. There were a few questions I wasn't sure of and when I looked them up after getting home I found out a few of them I had answered wrong and got a bit nervous but then again I think that was because those were the questions I was in doubt about anyway. I was told in nursing school that if the computer turns off at 85 it usually means 1 of 2 things. Either you passed with flying colors or you had gotten such a high percentage wrong that it wouldn't matter how many questions it shot at you it wouldn't help. Good luck to all of you still waiting on results or who have not yet taken the NCLEXPN. I think the best advise I could give is to relax. I know it's hard but just have confidence in the knowledge you have acquired and in yourself.

When I took my NCLEXPN, the test stopped at 85. I almost started crying, saying to myself, please give me some more questions, I know I can get some right!!!!! I thought for sure I had flunked it! I don't know anyone personally that honestly thought they had passed it. I passed, and good thing I did, as I don't think I could go through that again. Talk about stress! LOL!
