Anyone applying to NGCSU Fall 2012?

Published

Hi, I'm new to this site, and I just wanted to see who has all applied to North Georgia College and State University. Anyone with experiences, or others who have applied please reply with your stats...It would be greatly appreciated!

I'm just trying to get a general idea of what my stats should be like or what I should expect if im accepted. I have a 3.5 GPA and I just recently took my TEAS saturday so I am waiting on my score (Crosses fingers) :):):):)

Thanks!

I am sure the ranking is not alphabetical, that would just be completely unfair and wouldn't always give them the best candidates. I am thinking the "list" is just those people who met the basic requirements. The better your stats the better your chances of getting off the waitlist. In reality, NG is not forthcoming with info so everyone is pretty much guessing at the number of people on the list as well as their methods of selecting people off the list or organizing the list. Good luck to everyone on the waitlist! I know from experience how tough it is to wait!

LOL. I did not mean to sound like the list was alphabetical only. It is alphabetical but it shows your rank next to your name. That way they can look up your name and see where you stand on the wait list. From what I know, everyone is given points for GPA, teas, core, etc. Those with the higher points are higher on the wait list. I was told that for each person that was accepted, there is a wait list person. So if there are 160 accepted, there will be 160 wait listed.

Has anyone heard or gotten anything from them? I was told more info would go out last week but I haven't seen anything yet! I am so nervous that somehow something got messed up!! I know that is unlikely, but I would love to hear something to reassure me!

The packets went out on Friday, but I haven't received mine yet.

Hmm, if that is the case I should have gotten mine by today and it didn't come. Nothing like waiting for tomorrow!

I really do know the feeling. It feels like it takes a lot of patience to get in this program.

I'm glad that I am not the only one worried about not receiving anything else yet....I guess we need to hang in there and be patient :)

I received the packet today, and we have an information session on April 9th at the Dahlonega campus!

I received mine too, looks like we have a lot to do in a short time. Seems a bit more real now!

I got mine today too! Things just got serious! Who all will be at the Gainesville campus?

I will be at the Forsyth campus....do you all have any suggestions about the CPR class? I haven't called any of the #'s yet to get the details, but I will......also do you think we need a flu shot now, before theApril deadline ? Seems like it makes more sense to get it before school starts for next year.
