I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)

Hi! I applied to MJC(3 times) and Delta, I also recieved the congratulations email from Delta!

Good luck!! I FINALLY got my letter today from my old employer and I'm sending my husband down tomorrow to submit all my stuff. Nothing like cutting it so close!! I was so stressed it wouldn't all get done in time~my transcripts JUST came in the mail yesterday.

Now, only one more month of waiting for a final answer. Sigh...

To all those with "congrats" letters, do you feel comfortable with sharing your GPA, TEAS, and any extra point info? I'm curious as to where I stand~lol. I have all A's in my pre-reqs with one B (microbiology), I scored an 88.2% on my TEAS, and I have more than 2,000 hours patient care (as a certified medical assistant).

Yes Im going to also apply to MJC this month..... Im waiting to hear back from Stanislaus this month too... Cross your fingers!

This is a new process for Delta and it was informative to read everyone's posts. I'll be applying there the next application period and I'm curious how many people get in and what the cut off was for this Fall's applicants. I couldn't apply for Fall since I haven't taken the TEAS test first. Delta is one of the very few schools that require that to be done first. However, I applied at ARC and SCC. They get a LOT of applicants so not very hopeful I'll get accepted. If I don't then I'll apply at Delta next. I'm crossing my fingers that you get in!!

I have all A's in my pre-reqs, scored an 89.4 on TEAS, speak a foreign language and received a pell grant.

Wow, thinameister, sounds like you are definitely at the top of the list :) I'm just praying I don't go through all of this to find out I'm just an alternate, I will be so disappointed. I can't believe we have to wait another month to find out!

i highly doubt it. last year after receiving all documentation, delta college emailed other students who were not selected before to be alternates. i had a friend who was rejected at first and then became an alternate a month or two after when people had declined their spots.

I have all A's, except a B in English. I scored 87.6% on the teas and I qualified for a grant.

We sounds pretty close :)

Have you guys heard anything from Delta? If not, when will you know? I'm hoping you get accepted!!!

I haven't heard a thing! Not even a confirmation that they received my packet, which would have been nice ;) As far as I know, we will get our "final" email on June 11th. That's still so far away!!

I haven't heard anything either. I'm pretty sure we won't know anything until June. Just keeping busy...;)

Does anyone know how many students are conditionally accepted? I also received the congrats letter, but it sounds like it doesn't really mean a lot.
