I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)
I think your chances at MJC would be better this year. The fact that they are accepting for both Fall and Spring for the first time increases your chances, imo. Sorry to hear that you didn't get into Delta. Did they send you an email letting you know, just curious about their process? About applying to other schools...I would apply to as many as you can if you are willing to drive. Good luck!

I am getting ready to apply in May for MJC as well, and this will be my 5th time applying. It's crazy that we worked so hard to get out pre reqs done and then we have to wait so long to get into the program. Good luck, I hope we both get in!
P.S. Did you take Math 90 since they added that as a pre req?

I want to say Congratuations to all of you that got your initial email. But do not consider yourselves in just yet...you are conditionally accepted. I too got this email last semester. I turned in all of my information and when they we were ranked, I was an alternate. I did eventually get in, but my phone call did not come until mid December. (They let people know they were in at the beginning of November). So yes be excited, but be realistic until you know where you place. I am not trying to be a downer by any means....This is a very good sign!! Again Congratulations! I hope to see you at the Welcome Tea Reception.

Hello Everyone,
I am quite nervous about applying for the ADN program at MJC this May 2010. This will be my 3rd time applying and I know that they are only taking applications once a year now. I talked to the receptionist in the Allied Health Dept and she told me that the way they're going to do it is that they are going to choose the first 65 or so for the Fall 2010 semester and then create a waitlist there after. Those on the waitlist are going to be moved into any positions that fall out within the first few weeks of the Fall Semester. The remaining people on the waitlist will be guaranteed a spot in the Spring of 2011. Does that make sense? I'm just wondering what my chances are. She said that last semester over 600 people applied, and I'm wondering how many times they each have applied. I hate waiting...errr...and I didn't get into Delta for the 3rd time too. I'm starting to think about applying to Merced and Sacramento. Ya feel me?! LOL! :/
