Hi Soon2BeK10RN! Did you apply to any other schools? Good luck to you and let us know what you hear...I'm starting the countdown!

I just wanted to say Good Luck to all of you. I am a first semester student at Delta. All is going well for me...I am normally an average student, but I am getting A's in nursing school. (I do study all the time) Pharmacology is the hardest, but they are breaking that up over three semesters for the new class. I was very impressed last year with how fast Delta handles the application process. Check your emails everyday!

Renee930,

Thanks for that post! I didn't hear anything today, I hope that's not a bad sign :( I checked my email about 20 times today~lol. Based on your experience, what was the "norm" as far as grades, TEAS, etc for the people that got in? I'm not familiar with Delta, I applied at the last minute and I have no idea what to expect! BTW, great job on your grades!!

The only other school I applied to was Los Medanos College in Pittsburg. That's closer to my house but really hard to get into!! Did you hear anything today? Good luck!

Well they just closed applications on Friday, so you probably will not hear anything for a few days at least, so do not take it as a bad sign. As far as everyone elses grades, TEAS, etc., I do not know how everyone else placed. There are 70 students in our class, but to be honest with you I might know 15 of them. We are broke into groups of ten for our clinicals so I only see the whole class one day a week during lecture. I know a lot of people had straight A's going into it. I was not one of them, but I have many years of experience in the healthcare field and I tested high on the TEAS. That helped me. Some people already have their Bachelor degrees, so that helps them. It just depends on where you score. I heard during my application process that there were over 400 applicants. It really will just depend on how many applicants and how people rate on their scale. Sorry I cannot be much more help on that. Good Luck!

LOL~Me, too!! Thank God for my iPhone at work. I'm off today and my laptop is being checked every few minutes. Make sure to update as soon as you get an email ;) GOOD LUCK!

I haven't heard anything yet either. I check my mail at least 5x a day! I figure...anytime now.

By the way, I tried putting the delta email on my iphone mail but it wouldn't register, do you go on safari to check it?

Yes, I have it bookmarked under my favorites and it just takes me right to the login page. This waiting is going to drive me crazy...how long does it take to send out an email? lol
