Anyone applying to MJC or San Joaquin Delta College?

I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)

Soooo, it looks like I got a new email but I can't read it!! The session had timed out and when I tried to refresh it, the email account is down. Anyone else having this problem!? Omg, I can't believe this is happening right now~lol.

I saw one of the emails, its an invitation to send in documentation!! I cant see the other one yet, the site keeps crashing... But they said it must be in by May 6 and they'll email final rankings on June 11.... I hope this means we're in!

I got it!! They congratulated me and told me to submit all my info. What does this mean?! I wish it would say if I was a for-sure or an alternate. Ahhh!! I hate all this waiting and not knowing!!!

I've been trying for hours and was only able to get on that one time :( I want to re-read the email and see what the other email said and it won't let me on!! This is so frustrating... :mad:

I just wanted to say Good Luck to all of you. I am a first semester student at Delta. All is going well for me...I am normally an average student, but I am getting A's in nursing school. (I do study all the time) Pharmacology is the hardest, but they are breaking that up over three semesters for the new class. I was very impressed last year with how fast Delta handles the application process. Check your emails everyday!

So, since we got the "congratulations" email that told us to send in our info, does that mean we are in if it all checks out?? I assume they don't ask every applicant to send in their info, but it also said we won't know our ranking until June. Does that mean I could just be an alternate? I hate this uncertainty, I don't know what to think!! What was your process like?

You're right, this is so frustrating! :eek: I would imagine that if you were invited to send in your documents that it means that you have been accepted! Congratulations! That is how I would view it (if only I could read my mail!). Ahhhhh!!!!

So, I just looked on the website at their Q & A's. It looks like we are not officially accepted until after our official documents are in. Then they rank them and notify us, I think??

I'm trying to figure this all out, it's so confusing! I know they wouldn't ask everyone to send in their info, so it has to only be the people that are either in or alternates, right? Then, once it's all confirmed, they figure who goes where? I don't know...I wish I just knew where I stood right now. Because, honestly, I'm feeling like I got accepted to nursing school~lmao. I hope you can read your email soon!! I can't imagine there are THAT many people that it's bogging down the system; they need to get IT on that problem STAT~lol.

I checked my mail this morning and I got the same email! Yeah! I'm celebrating...viewing it as an acceptance! :D
