Anyone applying to MJC or San Joaquin Delta College?

I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)

Thanks Renee for all the info! I will definitely take the Study Skills class.

I was just at the doctor yesterday and got a Tet shot, the first part of the 2 step TB, and blood drawn for titers. I went in for something else so I didn't have the list of needed titers with me so unfortunately I'll have to go back and check my Hep B and C, but honestly if you already had the immunizations it really wasnt all that bad! Just looks daunting on paper.

Regarding the Skyscape app: It is a very expensive app! (over $100) And it is only for one year then you have to pay for the subscription again. We had a couple of girls in my group with Skyscape and a couple with Medscape (Medscape is free) and there was never any information that Medscape did not have. I recommend saving your money and starting out with Medscape and a drug book. I heard that some hospitals will not even let you have a phone or a PDA. As you get along in the program you will learn what works best for you. :nurse:

Renee your information is helpful. I will be starting at Delta in the Fall too. Are these apps only for the iphone?

The Apps are available on other phones as well-PDA's, Droid, Iphone, etc. You can check if your phone is compatible on their website.

Has anyone heard from Delta about the fitting yet? The deadline to order on the dove website is 7/5 but we haven't even tried them on yet.

I called the office last week and they told me that fitting would be onthe 8th, the deadline for ordering is the 10 according to our checklist.

Ahh okay, did they tell you what time? I sent an email to Dove because on their website it said the deadline was on the 5th.

I wrote down 8:00 -2:00 on my calendar, I hope I am not misinforming you. I hope they will send us an email with uniform info soon.
