Anyone applying to MJC or San Joaquin Delta College?

I'm applying to MJC and Delta for Fall '10. Just wondering if anyone else out there is also applying? :)

Lucky Ducks!!! (those of you who got into Delta) ;) So who else is out there waiting to here from MJC???? And who will be studying their booties off to take the next teas for Delta?

Yes Mamato3 it is my first time applying to MJC. How about you? I am not really counting on it though, I also applied to Sac City, but wasn't so lucky with that lottery. What area do you live in? Will you be applying to Delta this fall for spring entrance?

All of you who applied to MJC - let us know when you find out. I also applied to MJC but I'm not counting on an acceptance because it is my first time applying. Also, there is so much preparation, I don't know how they expect you to do everything before school starts. (Quickly, I guess!)

ABOUT registering... I sent an email to Delta and they replied today. They told me they will be opening up registration for ONE day on the 1st. ???? Weird. Well, I guess we'll see if its the 1st or 12th... Man, this is a lot of stuff to get done in a short amount of time!

Thank you for the info dpeterson! Thats weird (------- in the office told me the 12th). I hope it really is the 1st because Im anxious about registering! I hope they send out an email to everyone confirming the date.

Haha I sent them an email about registration and they never emailed me back. Anyway I looked up reviews about the Dove Apparel and most of them aren't positive. Too bad they changed their uniforms, the ones before seemed more comfortable and cost WAY less. I can only afford one set of the new uniform.

I know what you mean! I looked at the website and I almost literally choked lol...I am going to order two sets and it almost 200 bucks. Cobee where did u look up the reviews?

I found some on this site and I googled "dove apparel" to find a few posted here and there. Apparently they're made of canvas that doesn't breathe well and poof out at the stomach when you sit. I guess we will find out ourselves at the fitting. I could probably order two sets but I feel guilty as my mom is paying for everything and she's already bought me a car and non slip skechers shape ups in the past week. I didn't ask for those things though (she's just really excited I got in) but if I can make one pair work I don't want her to waste any more money.

Has anyone looked at shoes? Do we have to get them w/laces or is that just an option? Also, got some vaccines yesterday...with the boosters, there is no way that I will be done before the 23rd. Anyone else having that issue?
