Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Hi everyone, I'm going to the fitting Tues afternoon. I'm leaving work early and taking my daughter to her dentist appt. They said she can hang out there if I'm a little bit late, since I plan to do the fitting while she's at the appt. So it should be around 1:30. Is everyone else having trouble cramming everything in a short period of time?!

SBNRN2B-Thanks for the info on the Background and I know we will all meet soon enough! I'm suppose to do my gift shopping on Monday too, so much going on and soooo little time! That's kinda scary about your girl in LA (is that Los Angeles or Louisiana).

I took the survey and will call this afternoon for an appointment. You all have a great day, I off to volunteer in my 1st graders class and then to Kaiser to fight to get my form completed! OOh yeah I got all my books yesterday! I had to pick my honey's jaw off the ground.. Hehehe and I tried negotiate a discount at the counter...but it didn't work! ;)

Kristi did they say how long the appointment with the resource specialist will take? I just took the survey this am and will call this afternoon.

CaRNwnt2b - los angeles, but I haven't been to louisiana either, lol.

RNbound - Yes i'm having difficulty cramming it all in too! I just try to remind myself this is practice for dealing with stress of being an RN. And I'm sure that as we go thru we will be wish for this type of stress instead of some other stress they introduce us too, lol. Keeps me sane that way, lol.

Hey harry, so they said we have until the end of this year to upload everything? That would be great..

Does anybody know if we have to upload any kind of form for the last tetorifice shot? What kind of proof are they looking for?

I might go on tues for my fitting, and hopefully my nurs 3 a, b, c will be waived, as i am doing nurs 310 at ARC. tODAY IS FINAL, WISH ME GUD LUCK.LOL

I've had a CrAzY time getting all of this done...but I finished everything today..now just gotta do the survery and call for appointment

It made it all worth while today bc my co-workers threw me a party and gave me pizza..cheesecake...cash..balloons...and a LITTMANN cardiology stethoscope!! Totally made my day!

My immunizations say incomplete because I didn't attach the chest x-ray since I didn't need one, but that won't matter right?
