Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

Congrats AlyKat!!!! That is so special! Kristi - I just attached my immunization to the chest x-ray so they could see that I didn't need it, kinda like a n/a. I wanted to see the word COMPLETE, lol.

kristi you can select not applicable for the chest xray. just click "attach record" and not applicable should be the last option.

I have a question regarding the immunization form regarding Hep B shots and titers. So are we suppose to have both? My doc did titers and then signed off on them because it shows positive. I wasn't sure if I had had the series done before, so this year i got my first two done and I was in need of my third. But when I picked up my form today, Kaiser said there is no need to have the third shot done since I already show positive immunity for it. However, when I uploaded the immunization form it says we need both. So do you guys have all three dates for the shots given and titers signed for on your form? I will run back to Kaiser in the A.M. if need be but I wanted to bounce it off you guys to see what you all did. Thanks

CaRNwnt2b - The way I read the Heb B is that it is either "Proof of either a positive titer OR first dose of a series must be provided" you have the positive titer so I'd say your good to go! we're almost there!!!

I just picked up my books today!!! It took me three trips to my car! Are we suppose to carry all these books to each class? If so I'm asking santa for a dolly for christmas!

Thanks SBNRN2B! Thats what I thought too, but then again you never know? I think a dolly would be a great gift to assist with those books! I had my husband, and daughter with me to carrying back to the car. Harry, there's a box, plus a large book bundle then there are any recommended books you decide to get. Fun fun, lots of reading we could do prior! Have a great Friday All! I'm going for my survey appointment today, they said 30-45 min.

Does any one have professional Liability Insurance through anyone else besides NSO.....I am just doing this now and have an issue with the Nurse assistant license and then upgrading to student on Monday....Just seeing if I can get it done today instead of Monday..
