Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

Published

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

That just got me even more nervous & paranoid :/. I speak a foreign language & I had someone fill out that foreign language verification sheet. I just hope what my evaluator wrote is enough to give me points. I thought they would just take away points if your docs arent sufficient enough. Man they are strict. AHHHHHHHH!

Hi Roxy

I also speak foreign langauage. I was also thinking same things...so to be on safe side, I had 2 people signed that language verification form. One is my doctor and another person is my neighbor.

I also filled up a form for first generation to attend college. I wrote paragraph but I am really getting nervous if thay will not be satisfied with my paragraph. I really did not try to persuade them but just wrote what I know about my family and previous generations.

Its crazy and don't make sense. I am preparing myself what ever the result will be.

I have GPA of 4.0 and teas score of 94, if they will still disqualify me that will be really really crazy.

carnwnt2b- I live here in Sac but like you I am not picking as to where I get in, just hoping I get in somewhere :-)

slrberry- Thanks for the email addresses!!!

Hey everyone, it looks like the fall schedule is posted, so now we have an idea of when the classes are. The schedule for Spring appears to be:

Tue 6:30-3

Wed 6:30-3

Thur 11-1 and 1-1:30

Fri 9-11

This is for Nursing 1 (1/17-3/18), Nursing 2 (3/21-5/27), and Nursing 3A (1/17-5/27 plus an online requirement for this class)

Slrberry, Thanks for sharing! I'll have to check out the spring schedule and dream :)

1 more month to go!

I know I'm sure its going to go by quickly, especially now that I am not checking my email multiple times a day!

hey guys ARC has send the final emails..Unfortunately, I didn't make it:(

I am denied from ARC this Sem. ! again. 2 schools to go. Delta and Sac. City. I also applied for Resp. Therapy program at ARC.

The chances of getting into ARC are about the same as getting into Harvard, except it's a lottery so even the best student has an equal small chance. I got into Delta the first time because of their merit based admissions. If you meet the criterias, it puts you in a good spot.

Sorry to hear that Harry 123 and Giulistudentnurse, but don't lose hope, Delta hasn't denied us yet. Keep your chin up. :)

Thanks SBNRN2B.

I am patiently waiting.
