Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

WOW! Thats a long time!

No, I haven't received any response. I do think they if they wait so long they are cutting it really close to go over all of the documents once submitted.

I know that some of us have applied to SSC and ARC, and I'm thinking that we may hear something from them before Delta. This is the last week of the application period for those schools. Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for them to conduct their lottery?

I've read in previous threads that ARC sends acceptance/rejection letters around the 2nd week of November & SCC sends theirs around the first week of December.

I just got my email to submit documentation, it says final ranking emails will go out december 3rd.

I also received the email to submit documentation! I believe his means we are eligible for selection for their nursing program. Once they have everyones documents they will do a final ranking based on our points.

Has anyone taken the TEAS more than once? We would have to submit our highest score right?....or do we have to submit all attempts? I took mine at another college so I have to send them an official TEAS result from ATI.

It looks like we only have 10 days to get our documents in!

Is there anyone who didn't get this e-mail? I am trying not to get too excited, but from reading the thread from last semester it seems like everyone who got this e-mail got into the program!

I recieved my letter too but they have me as an adn transfer student and I'm not! I'm so scared that my application will be disqualified. Good luck everyone!

Is everyone going to hand deliver their paperwork or mail it. I'm feeling paranoid and don't want to mail it but i live far away.

Hey everyone! Can this be more nerve racking?! I checked my email 1000 times last week...finally got the all-famous "congrats" email today. I know my score wasn't as high as most but I did get good grades and did well on the TEAS. I'm just wondering what this means? Are we being offered a spot pending documentation? I've read other threads and saw that everyone who got the Congrats email got in last semester...but some were also alternates. Ugh! I'm just gunna turn all my documents in as early as possible and maybe i'll find out sooner lol.....Wow talk about anxiety!! BTW @ ck530 I'm hand delivering..i live about 45 minutes away but i don't wanna chance snail mail.

I will probably mail mine and get a confirmation from the post office. I heard from someone at the TEAS that the lowest score accepted last semester was 55.
