Anyone Applying to Delta College for Spring 2011

With only 4 weeks until we can start applying, I thought that it would be nice to start a new thread so that we can all keep in touch, pass along information, and post our stats.

When I went to see the nursing counselor earlier this semester, she said that one of the main people in the nursing department had quit and they were understaffed. Im assuming that this may be why they are so slow

Oh my goodness!! I was so excited to check my email this evening thinking that it would definately be there by now. I hope we get them early next week so we aren't just sitting and waiting for the whole week.

hi everyone who is so patiently waiting for delta's agonizing response! i too have been following your forum and have been a delta student for the last two years. this is my first application with them and have been on pins and needles all week. i re-read the email they sent out and it does say "we will begin notifying applicants during the week of october 5, 2010 regarding their application status" :mad: so i guess maybe they notified applicants that got 100 points....i feel all your pain and anticipation. i went grocery shopping and waited until 5:00 to get home so i wouldn't check my email...boo hoo...another whole weekend to wait! good luck to all.

I knew they were probably not going to send an email this week. There are too many applicants to go through, add the points, and determine the applicants with the highest scores.

I just called them, and they told me they will try to get the email out by the first weekend of November !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously? I was hoping it would be this week, not 3 weeks from now! That doesn't give them much time once we submit our documentation to choose people before the semester starts.

Do you think maybe they are doing it differently this semester. I can't believe we have to wait that long!

Did you ask them why they sent us an e-mail saying they were sending them out oct. 5th? ughhh
