anyone applying to CU for 2010?

U.S.A. Colorado

Is anyone going to put in their application this fall for Spring or Summer 2010?. I'm excited about finally getting to put in my application, I'll be attending the August 1st info session and be applying for the summer session. I will still be taking pre-reqs in the spring and I was so relieved when I found out I don't have to have everything finished to apply. My GPA is currently 4.0 and I should (I hope!) be able to keep that up until next spring. I'll be done all my sciences at the end of this summer semester and only have a couple math, a history and a pile of social sciences to do (music appreciation anyone!). The admission essay is making me nervous, but I have lots of time to work on it - I hope my GPA helps me out and they don't rely on essay alone.

I'd love to be in contact with anyone looking to get into CU.

BTW - I was going to go to DSN, but changed my mind since I decided to retake some old classes, and since we're paying for our own kids to go to college at the same time, needed to keep the cost down.

I just got my acceptance letter in the mail for Summer start date!!! I am so excited and yet still in shock!!

CONGRATULATIONS alippin!!!! :clpty: I'm stuck waiting till March, lol. Keep your fingers crossed, maybe we'll be in the same class!

Congratulations alippin, that is awesome!:yeah:

Congrats Alippin on being accepted!

Would you mind telling the rest of us waiting to hear your bio so that we can see if we are at least in the same ballpark! THANKS!

Sure I'll give any information that may allow you to compare. I currently work with Alzheimer patients and have for the last year. In my essay I went in to great detail about the care I provided for my grandparents and how it changed me. My GPA is 3.8 and my pre req grades were mostly A's with a few B's. I was really shocked and I am still am that I was accepted in the priority review. I am very excited for next year!

Let me know if any of you hear anything. I look forward to making many new friends on the journey!

Feel good alippin! I was told most priorities apps are just rolled into the general apps and very few priorities are accepted as priority.

I applied. I hope they let me in with my 3.6GPA...

Thanks Alippin! Sounds like you were a great candidate! Where did u do your undergrad? Are you going to CU for sure? Congrats again!..I hope I will meet you in June!

I am working on my acceptance information now and I am definitely attending in June! I did my undergraduate at SPC in Florida.

I just got an email from CU and I have copied it below for those who are interested. I am worried enough as it is, now I just feel sick.
