Is anyone going to put in their application this fall for Spring or Summer 2010?. I'm excited about finally getting to put in my application, I'll be attending the August 1st info session and be applying for the summer session. I will still be taking pre-reqs in the spring and I was so relieved when I found out I don't have to have everything finished to apply. My GPA is currently 4.0 and I should (I hope!) be able to keep that up until next spring. I'll be done all my sciences at the end of this summer semester and only have a couple math, a history and a pile of social sciences to do (music appreciation anyone!). The admission essay is making me nervous, but I have lots of time to work on it - I hope my GPA helps me out and they don't rely on essay alone.
I'd love to be in contact with anyone looking to get into CU.
BTW - I was going to go to DSN, but changed my mind since I decided to retake some old classes, and since we're paying for our own kids to go to college at the same time, needed to keep the cost down.

I'm doing OK, thanks for asking One1! I am keeping myself busy with a history assignment due today, but I am very aware of the clock. I checked at 2 and about every half hour I have been going out and checking. If it's not here by the time I get the assignment done, I think it would be a very good time to clean out my flower box out front! lol
I'm honestly not optimistic, once I found out there was no time limit on old grades, I figured I was sunk. But definitely knowing one way or the other has kept me checking. I will definitely post when I find out.

I still didn't get anything in the mail today. Now I am worried that the mailman put it in the wrong mailbox. We get other people's mail all of the time.
I wonder if they mailed them in batches? Or maybe it was just a fluke of timing, you know how things just hit the connections 'just right'? Maybe we just hit them 'just wrong'. I'm suffering right along with you cocogirl!
Congrats to everyone who got in and good vibes to all those still waiting to hear!! Thanks also for all of the support :) I must admit I'm still smarting from not getting accepted on the first go around but I'm still keeping positive thoughts that my name will come up on the call list. I wasn't given a ranking, from what I understand it's just a pool and they will review the applications if/when spots become available.
Which leads me to my question... To those that did get accepted, what sort of "deadline" are you under to officially accept your position? I had to return a form stating that I want to be put on the call list and be considered for the Spring 2011 cohort if I don't get in by June. This form had a due date of 4/30. I'm just kind of interested in what sort of timeline I might be looking at. The thought of being called up the day before class starts puts a lump in my throat!
I hear ya limeade! I am trying to figure out how I'm going to let my boss know that he may only get a day's notice from me... I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't work for my uncle. It could make for an awkward Thanksgiving :)
Sand Dollar, I am sorry you didn't get anything in the mail either. Maybe they did do them in batches because I don't understand why it would take so long to get to Brighton or Littleton, where I am at. I was really hoping to find out today. I feel like my life is on hold until I find out if I was accepted or not. I hope we get something tomorrow!
No mail today. The post office guy even checked to see if it was put in a neighboring PO Box. They said if it was mailed on Thursday I should have had it Friday or Saturday.

I did too, that majorly sucks. But, I hate to admit it, I can understand.
In Washington state, WSU approved a 30% tuition hike! I'm thankful I'm not in WA.
