anyone apply for sccc fall 2011 nursing program?

Just looking for company ... Has anyone applied for ammerman's fall 2011 nursing program? What are your grades and does anyone know last years GPA cutoff? Also, do you know anyone who got in without four A's?

This is a new thread...others are from a few urs ago.

If I didn't already have my answer from Farmingdale, I would just pay the $100. It's too risky to not pay it.

Not sure what this means but my Application check I sent into SCCC for the Fall nursing program just got cashed last week - I sent the App and check in in September/October 2010 for Fall 2011... At least that tells me they started something... Has anyone else noticed their check being cashed so much later?

Shoehat, I actually got my application check back in the mail a few weeks ago, I didn't realize that I had already submitted one when I started back for my prereq's two years ago. I realize this is not exactly an answer to your question, but obviously something is going on in the application processing machine... If it is relevant I submitted my "application" end of September.

That is interesing - they did tell me April/May so I guess there is something going on. Just hope I get in - I applied for evenings. I have all my prereqs

B+ in A&P 1 and 2 and and an A in Mico - then I have al the other base courses from my Associates ... Hope we ear soon - I am getting so discouraged - just trying to get into college - unreal

Some people in my classes had already received letters from the Nursing dept saying the did not meet the qualifications. For SCCC Ammerman. I thought I'd get a letter within a few days - didn't happen. So I called admissions today and they said they only sent out letters to the people who were not qualified. Low GPA. And as far as the qualifying applicants go.... they have made no decisions yet as to who made it or not. And they don't know when they will complete the process and actually send out letters :( so it's gonna be a wait. But good luck everyone.
