i don't expect alot of response here, because it seems most on bikes are guys. however, i would appreciate anything anybody has to offer?
me :)
Vespas!! Yeah, The word vespa was flitting around inside the cotton wool in my head, but refused to come out.
Have you seen the Vespa CARS? They are SOOOOooo cool! Teeny tiny little cars, but pretty comfy. There's another kind of car, I was thinking was Vespa but I'm thinking it's more French than Italian that the FRONT opens up - it had a steering BAR like a rudder. Maybe even is a 3-wheeler instead of a 4 wheeler?
Has anybody seen any of those? It would have to be somebody who has been in Europe, probably a LONG time ago.

OOoooh, Rick. I don't know - I've never been much for television. Never really felt like I missed much, until now! Well, I worked in an office once, where I was pretty much the only person without any conversation on Tuesdays because I didn't watch that soap opera that played on Monday nights in the 80's.
I'll have to see if there's anything about it on the internet!

98 H-D Sportster Sport..... love it BUT just went to a bike event and tried a bike called Ridley some thing like that it was an automatic!!!!! It had an automatic transmission on it, and it was sweet!!!! I did not know that they could make a motorcycle that you did not have to shift gears manually.... totally freaked me out and I am thinking about getting one.....someday

Hey, Bubba, is that '67 Olds a convertible, by any chance?
Rick, good to see you posting again.
Micro, all I've got to say is, you must really, really, REALLY trust that person you are holding onto to ride you around safely.
Sorry to all that I can't get into your line of thinking. You know I think ya'll are good people, but I've received too many folks into ER on backboards thrashed from MC riding and RACING. I have cut leathers off too many times, and once, even boots. I have responded to emergency calls to our Fire Dept., finding people over the edge of a mountain, motorcycle face-to-face with car (2 folks on bike lost), retired folks on Gold Wing that tipped over in a curve, folks caught by helmet on guardrail, with rest of body dangling over edge of mountain, folks who have eaten or impacted rock face or road, and bikes that have had all types of serious, and yes, terminal injuries.
These folks ride crotch rockets on mountain roads that are not banked or not banked the correct way at 80-90 mph, suddenly going oh, sh*t! Where did the road go? We are talking at least a 700 foot drop almost straight down, in my area. The only thing that might slow them down is a guard rail or a tree, if they go over.
Ya'll puhleease be careful! It gives me shivers to think of you out there defending yourselves against a ton of metal and rubber with your own skin and bones! ~ ~ ~ ~Cathy shivers~ ~ ~ ~
