Hi everyone--
Has anyone else out there applied to the UCSF MEPN program? They're supposed to send out letters this month (December) for the interview process. Has anyone gotten a letter yet? Will those that aren't asked to the interview process get a rejection letter now?
Crossing my fingers...!
Talk about "High AnxietY"....
Scott Ziem specifically promised the letters "would be postmarked on March 3rd, because the 1st was on a Saturday".
I did not expect them to be delivered until Wednesday, thereby giving a little cushion, just in case they couldn't deliver "as promised". Now that they were "mailed yesterday", they still may not be here tomorrow, so give yourselves a break and lessen your anxiety to allow for postal mishaps and the occasional "postal" postal carrier.
Good luck everyone.!!

haha agreed! everyone waiting for letters needs to relax!! i know all of you heard scott when he said letters were going to be postmarked mar 3, so don't expect anything until tomorrow at least! thank god my vegas trip this past weekend kept my mind off this letter but i hope everyone else finds something to keep preoccupied with. lol good luck everyone!
Nothing for me either. The info I had on Friday was from the Nursing office: "we sent the letters to the Registrar yesterday [Thursday] so they've most likely been mailed out." Guess it went out today.
Holy mole batman, looks like we're gonna find out sooner than later.
I'm glad I didn't find out today. I had a lab practicum and would not have been able to tolerate all of that at once!
For all those interested. Friday from 9-11am KQED's Forum is on Choices in Childbirth. The panel consists of OB's, CNM's, authors, researchers, and then me:specs:. The forum is being held in the classroom of the Health and Well being center for Mills Peninsula Hospital (I teach there, and was shocked when my boss called to warn me KQED wanted me on the panel to add an honest, non-medical third dimension to the discussion). Come join us in the audience in San Mateo --email KQED to make a reservation, and ask some gritty questions...come on, I know you have some. Amy Levi will be there of UCSF's midwifery practice and program. Or just turn your radios on.
This is finally a good distraction from waiting.

Just called student affairs, despite instructions not to. Letters were mailed today.
