Hi any nurse here in Queensland? just want to ask for a little help maybe you can recommend any book or review materials i can use for the Competency Assessment Test (QLD Nursing Council) I just need it badly. Thanks!

Hello guys...

Whom among you have already taken the CAS part A exam? Did all recommended books helped coz I find Binan Goonj kinda boring and not focused on the medical/nursing context about Aboriginies. Its all about discrimination, culture shock and case studies. I think a transcultural nursing book is much suited for review.

I dont have yet the assessment from CAS but I'm already reviewing for the CAS in advance.

i got the result of the part A. luckily i passed two modules and unfortunately failed the others.. modular studies here i come! pm me anyone who needs help and references.. the exam is so hard huhuhuh!!

The part a test is given by IDP philippines located at Pioneer House Makati,Makati City.There are two idp offices in the philippines, one in makati and one in cebu,i'm not sure if it is also conducted there .:smokin:

thanks unadunad..by the way if I lodge my application on December do you think I could make it before January? how about I still dont have my IELTS? can I take it later? QNSLD said they will give you 3 months to comply as they received your application..please correct me if I'm wrong.. thanks.:D

as of july 2009,QLD will only accept applications if u have met their ielts requirement. please check their website

I took the test in IDP, Cebu.. CQU will ask where you want to take the test..
