best suggestion i can make on a new marriage (i've only been married 2 year this monththough lol) is that when you get frustrated and he gets frustrated try really hard to both remember this is TEMPORARY, the dishes can wait, the dust can make a home on the tables, its not that big of a deal, rather than clean all the time when you all have a moment together, snuggle instead...it worked with us up until he left for Iraq, now we just take the time to email and IM instead. so i'm doing this (school) alone, with a 13mo old, but like i said the laundry can wait (except for uniforms), dishes pile up untilt he weekend, when ihave time i spend it on the floor with my son, reading to him, or rolling the ball...that's more precious than making sure my house is spotless! lol! oh and you will learn to practically LIVE out of you car! lol...all those books hauling them around, the water bottle thrown on the floorboards..lol or maybe that's me!

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions! There has been two piles of laundry in our bedroom since school started. Some is clean some is dirty. Tomorrow night I am going to try and wash all of them before I have to work the weekend. Does anyone else work Sat/Sun 12 hour shifts?

I wish I didn't have to work. I don't want my husband to have to get a 2nd job though. Today I had a test in pain mgmt and vitals. Vitals are no problem being an NA, the pain mgmt part I missed a ques. on differentiating chronic and intractable pain, forgot it stated he was a pt. undergoing therapy.

Our school has the RN fast track program for 12 mo. Does anyone plan on going straight into an RN program?

I am pleased with my school. We have a new nursing addition to the college as well as an LRC. It's not like Sinclair with the nice cafe, but it will do. I have made several new friends and found an old classmate from GCCC is in my class also.

Have a good Friday. The weekend is almost here, more studying to be done!

Melissa

Welcome Orielly...........

Here is my advice...Study up on the math and reading!! Thats all the school I will be attending tests on....Find out what test you will be taking ( there are several) and then plan your study topics from there....Hope that helps!!....Best wishes!!

welcome to those who recently posted!!

:flowersfo I just want to take the time to say what a wonderful job you have been doing with this thread, wasted-enough-time. You have shown yourself to be conscientious, encouraging and supportive of all who have posted on this thread that you started. These are admirable qualities to have. You'll make an excellent LPN.

Keep up the good work:icon_hug:
