Thanks! It happened way faster than I anticipated.

I'm in a 12 month program also ( I graduate in January) we've just started cardiac while finishing respitory and wow!!! is right, there is just so much information, I just hope I can retain it all. some days after hearing lecture all day I feel like I know nothing but when I sit down and take the tests I always score really good , 85% or better most of the time. Endocrine was tough for me though I started with a 78% on my test but once the teacher was finished throwing out some of the questions I ended up with a 82%. I hope I do as well on my cardiac test which is going to be sometime this week. Any other students feel like they just don't know enough?

What's been the hardest part so far????????? Also what should I be prepared for??? ( I'm talking any "Shock factors") also how much off time do you have to spend studying??

= Hardest part so far: figuring out how to study, and to determine what questions are going to be asked on the test.

= how much off time do you have to spend studying: three hours for every hour in lecture. Keep up on the reading, memorize the terminology.

= shock factors: save time underlining the text, just dip it in yellow paint.

= is it worth it? no doubt.

= biggest worries: passing the state cna exam so I can get a real job and the nclex-pn

JB LPN Student,....

THANKS!! so much for responding!! I LOVED the "Dip text in yellow paint" remark, LOL, LOL...

Well I see that I will have to get my act together time wise when it comes to studying,..but I know I can handle it....

My very best wishes to you in passing your test!!.. You are going to make a " Fan-tabu-loso" Nurse!! ( if there is such a word ;) ).....Come back and post often..OK?

There are some days when i feel like i don't know a darn thing, or that i've learned a darn thing but then i take my test and viola...i passed...sooo i'm am offically a Third term nursing student today...wooo hoooo!!! We graduate Dec 16 and it just can't come soon enough! lol

Congrats to those just starting as well as just graduating...we are all in this bumpy ride together!...

too bad we couldn't have a LPN Student forum so we could all talk aobut what's going on in our classes, since they are slightly different from the RN student nursing forum...just a thought! Especially since there are so many of us on here :)
