Any Nursing Applicants For Fall 2009?

HELLO Future Nurses!!!
I was getting familiar in this forum (I posted a couple of responses in the PBISON thread several minutes ago.)
But I was wondering are there any aspiring nursing applicants out there in NYC who would be applying next year to any programs? Anyone attending NYC City Tech, BMCC, Laguardia, Queensborough, Kingsborough (it doesn't even matter as long as you're in NYC, (smile) Would like to have an application buddy or buddies. I figured maybe I can get to know some folks now and as we we get closer to the deadlines, we will dive into the process together.
Feel free to respond here or send me any messages, and we can swap email addresses or something.

hey I am planning to apply for spring 09 at QCC if they r accepting.I already have an AS in Computer, but decided to do nursing instead. I have some of the prereqs, i'm gonna go see someone down to see what they need. I might check out la guardia too, they say its hard to get in.

I applied to york college in queens, I'll be starting in jan for my bsn. I think they have an ASN program too.

I'm planning on applying at KBCC for Fall ' 09. I'm a little worried about some grades that I received a long time ago when I went there for my first degree over ten years ago. I'll try my best and keep my fingers crossed.

I am appllying to York College for the BSN Program. I am a little affraid of not getting accepted. I have been trying to become a nurse for years. I always have a problem that occurs in the applycation process.

York said their clinical starts Sep 09, and they are only have 30 seats and they are already getting thousands of calls. The receptionist said they didnt know if they are going to accept people in both fall and spring because it has not yet been worked out. I ahve 12 classes left to fullfil the other requirements for the BSN then just focus on clinicals if the accept me, I hope to finish all classes by dec 09, hopefully they will accept for clinical in spring 2010. Most schools that offer BSN has the same general class requirements so I plan to apply to other 4 yr schools as well, that will be only 2 yrs of high tuition.

The girl there is not helpful for real, I am guessing that u might need to apply by march like the other rn-bsn people, mayb by december the guideline should be clear

I am applying to Pace's Accelerated program for the Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 depending on when/if my wife gets pregnant. I already have a BS and am taking the pre-reqs now. Pace is a lot of money, but I think it will be worth it in the end to be completely done with my BSN in just a year instead of 2 yrs to ASN then part time to BSN while trying to work.

Applied to Hunter and BMCC - not sure which to choose yet..heard lots of bad stuff about BMCC..
