I am so happy for everyone that passed but i keep saying to myself "why couldn't that be me?" It just kills me to think i have failed Nclex RN twice and others take it one time and pass. I have been studying using Suzanne's plan this time and i'm scheduled to retest next month. Please throw some good vibes my way cos i need all the help i can get.
Any other 2nd and 3rd time test takers out there?
I have taken the nclex twice & failed. I am starting Suzannes plan, but it is so hard to focus and stay motivated to go through all of the stress again. I got physically sick both times after the exam. I'm not giving up, it's just really hard to have a confident attitude that this time will be different and that I will pass. I'm trying to approach this like I've never done it before, but it's really hard.
Please do not despair!I graduated from LPN school in June last year.took the boards in July, failed.I had been taking prerequisites for my RN-BSN at the same time while in LPN school. So i was admitted to the nursing
program in August of last year. But my Dean gave me a deadline to get the license. i Still did not get it in spring break. This whole experience was so stressful.I finally took my boards on Sunday and passed. What helped me most was the HURST review and lippincott questions.Saunders was overwhelming for me.Every time i saw those questions i got too overwhelmed. If i made it, all you guys can do it. Now i can go back to school this last two semesters and get my BSN.So please never despair....keep studying!
the nursing math can be found on the nursing student assistance forum, just go to the sticky and scroll down to dosage calculations. other site with help found at general nursing student, go to 3rd sticky thread down which should be nursing math thread.
when browsing those threads pay attention and read carefully any advise or look at any and all web sites recommended by daytonite or vickyrn.:heartbeat
if you still have questions, i would start a new thread on either of those forums and see if you can get daytonite or vickyrn to help with the math.
I have taken the NCLEX-RN twice and didnt make it. I am not losing hope just because I took it more than what I expected. I am not giving my Nursing degree and I will keep taking and taking until I become a Registered NURSE! goodluck to all of us...I know we all deserve what we all have been preparing for... :loveya:

If you are having nursing math difficulties there are 2 great sites here that are stickys first is in the General Nursing Forum and 2nd is in the Student Nursing Assist Forum or if you look at top of page it's the first & 3rd down. Look for what Daytonite listed for web sites they are incredible. Daytonite has some terrific helps for those of us who are math challenged. ( I am one of them ) Also some good pharmacology too. Hope this helps. :heartbeat
