Any Miami Dade College students going for the acceler. or Generic option fall 2009?

I am currently at Miami Dade College fulfilling prerequisites in order to apply for the Nursing program that starts fall 2009. I'd like to be in touch with other career changers who after getting a bachelor's in a non-nursing field decided to pursue the program at Miami Dade College.

I got my acceptance letter for both part time and generic full time. The date post mark on the envelope is June 23. I have on until July 9, 2010 to accept my seat and pay $ 100 fee. Once i accept my seat I must attend a mandatory meeting on July 20 from 9a- 1:00p. I also need to do medical screening and criminal check. Good Luck to everyone out there that is still waiting on news.

My GPA was a 3.83 when I submitted my application. I want to do full time option. Part time is too long.

Hey GUys got my NICE REJECTION LETTER for Part TIME my gpa was 3.76 GO FIGURE this is my second rejection uhmmmmmmmm I AM STILL praying for those of you that have not gotten a letter yet I will check back with you guys periodically I am not upset at all atleast they were a bit more organized than last yr and i can enjoy my summer ;-)

:( It is sad to see such nice, fat, juicy GPAs getting rejected. People would kill to have that and yet it isn't "sufficient". I am so happy there will be a TEAS test now to weed out all the people who got free A's and will let those who worked hard and love nursing shine. Don't give up 30NCN, try BC or FIU! I know you will get accepted in no time. =)

I got accepted this week into the generic and fulltime program but am waiting to hear from other schools before I make my decision. I don't like the fact that you only end up with an associates and and not a bachelors so I have some thinking to do. Good luck to everybody =]

Got in too! For Generic and PT, but I want to pursue part time. Now if only I could get student loans I could make up my mind. BTW for those who had really high GPAs and did not get in, there is still hope. People like me applied for two programs and can only attend one, if any, so there will more than likely be callbacks after July 9 (the deadline to submit the docs).

I saw the FT orientaion is on July 15. I am trying to see if I can get around that. I will not be in town!

My orientation is on July 19 not July 15, I guess they have two. Can please tell me if were accepted to Homestead or Medical Campus?
