Any CSUDH MEPN Fall 2008 Applicants out there?

Hi y'all

Just wanted to see if there are any CSUDH MEPN Fall 2008 applicants out there who would like to join me in the wait. Does anyone know if interviews are finished? I had mine on April 10th. Does anyone know how accurate the school is with their first week of June deadline of notification? Hope to hear from somebody:wink2:

I spoke to someone in financial aid today. They said there was a hold on awards but that we should be receiving awards notifications in about a week.

Are we supposed to hold off on registering for classes until we get our awards?

I'll respond to my own question: Financial Aid says that as long as they for sure have your FAFSA you can register for classes and the registration people should have you on a list that you do not need to pay immediately. So we can go ahead and register now.

I got the same information as deni_in_LA, they said i could register for classes and that I wouldn't be responsible to pay the fees immediately because it shows that I have applied to FAFSA, so I did, I was able to register for all my classes except MSN 505, pharmacology, did anyone else have trouble registering for that class, it said i needed requisites for the class, looking forward to that award letter, also, i called the student health center, and they said that i needed to show proof that i was going to get an award, like an award letter, otherwise i cant use there services, anybody get different information?

Jess08, Did you get the registration straightened out? I finally went to register today & I wasn't able to register for 505 or 506 (others no problem). I guess I'll do the API registration now--not looking forward to hitting the pay now button!

i didn't get it straightened out, Mr. Escamilla was going to sign us up for MSN 506 along with MSN 507L, i guess u decided to try it out anyways because he said we could try to sign up for MSN 506, I wonder if other people are having trouble signing up for MSN 505, I think I will e-mail him regarding that

what is API registration? I haven't heard of that? thanks for the response Deni_in_LA, im glad you still read these posts :)

p.s. i hope Code3EMT is right and we will be receiving award letters next week, really need that piece of paper

Mr. Escamilla sent an email on Fri about signing up for the API tests that he discussed in our orientation meeting. If you need it, I can forward it to you. It needs to be done by the 8th or there is an extra $25.

I thought it was just the clinical rotation course that he would register us for.

Disregard the last post, I did not see it 'cuz it started a new page. Anyways, thanks for the info, Jorge never sent me the e-mail! I am begining to worry because I never receive the e-mails he sends to us as a group. Do you mind e-mailing it to me? My email address is [email protected]. This is a not-so-important question, but do you think we will ever get our application portfolios back? I for one spent a lot of time on that thing, and it is the first [and probably only] time will documented myself as a person so thoroughly.

So, do you guys think it would be to hasty to ask Jorge for it back; I feel like such a bother him, I thought I would ask you guys first for your opinion.

thanks for the info :) i got the e-mail, thanks for letting me know, i hadn't checked my csudh e-mail so that's why i didn't know, thanks for making me aware of it, i am not looking forward to paying the ATI books either :(

still no progress on financial aid :(

Personally, I would wait a bit since he did say we would be getting them back sometime. I sure hope there is good news about Little Co of Mary. With 39 of us it seems we would need a 4th facility.
