I recently had to do a dressing change that was made of honey, I thought that was so cool, I realize that nature gives us so much.:redpinkhe:redpinkhe:redpinkhe
colloidal silver for bacterial infection
blue flag poultice packing (wild iris) for staph infection
golden seal root powder mixed with psyillium husks as packing for staph
chapparo amargosa for food poisoning or any g.i. problem
probiotics (yay, even physicians know this one now)
osha root for rebuilding lungs after bronchitis............on and on and on
oh my gosh.....it would be so neat if all natural remedies could be proven and we could use them all......in time......
addendum, wild iris ROOT parts

But I can tell you that all these remedies have worked. I did fist aid at summer- long- crazy hippy- gatherings which were miles from any hospital (before I was an RN).
I'm currently backed up all the way to my small intestines (or it feels like it), and my husband swears by an organic apple juice fast. He bought me a gallon yesterday, and he warned me to do it on a day when I don't have to go anywhere because I'll be trotting to the bathroom quite often.TMI, I know, but y'all are nurses and can surely handle it. I'll let you know how it goes (literally).
I will have to try this one is it the juice or cider? Did it work
