Is anyone applying to ACC ADN program for Fall 2017?

I talked to Karen last week (Friday) when I called to ask if they need updated transcipts now that classes are complete and I took them at San Jac and she said to wait to find out if I'm accepted. I'm assuming they won't "update" my GPA or anything now that the application dates are closed. I finished Lifespan/Dev which I know is in the program but I don't think they're going to take it into consideration now, right? I emailed her for clarification and she hasn't responded yet. Anyway, she told me on the phone that we should hopefully know something 3rd week of May which is this week.

Memesandmargaritas: Yes, you're correct. I just finished Micro and got an A and would have loved for that to be taken into consideration, but I was also told that they wont consider grades or completion of any class unless it happened before the application deadline.

Karen just sent out email to all applicants that acceptance emails won't be sent until end of next week or even the week after that. Total of 300 applications turned in wow for only 40 spots.

Just saw it. I swear I went tachy when I saw who it was from. lol I thought it was THE email.

Lol me to. That's quite a wait especially for those trying to decide between Alvin and another school.

Right! San Jac wants a decision by this Friday...with mandatory orientation Monday (including purchasing the supplies, etc.).

EXACTLY! I'm accepted to San Jac but might prefer Alvin IF I were accepted. But I have to attend that meeting on Monday and spend hundreds of dollars. :( I saw that you can return all supplies within 10 days for a full refund. That leaves a VERY small window to hear from Alvin in time!
