I've recently been conditionally admitted to Alverno's demsn program, slated for Summer unless a spot opens up in Spring. The conditional being that I finish the labs for the prerequisites and two psychology courses as I've only finished the didactic portions in a marathon 9 week section.
Does anyone have any experience with this program, or Alverno in general? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Damiaus, I understand your point though. I know perfectly what you're talking abt. However, I agreed with both of you. To me you are both correct but, you just have different approaches. Based on the previous comments, I can see that one of you takes the pathogenicity approach of an organim and the other approach goes mostly toward virulence. In a scientific point of you, you're right Damiorifice. She/he's also right too since I work in a nursing facility.
Glad to hear you’re in. It’s an incredibly supportive vibe so far. I’m pretty hopeful. Alverno seems to develop very good instructors. They all appear to be Alverno grads or long term faculty.
Is everyone moving to Wisconsin or are y’all current residents? I’m making the move a little closer to the fall and if anyone has any advice for areas to steer clear of I’d greatly appreciate it! I’ll be moving with my family so a good school district is really important to me, and I’d like to stay within 30mins to the school since I don’t have a lot of experience driving in the snow.
Thanks for any advice, or a point in the right direction.

We were already in WI. Oconomowoc school district is excellent if you don’t mind the 40-60 minute drive depending on weather. Waukesha/Brookfield is your next best bet. Much cheaper too. The closer to the lakes region the better for families.

And you are going to be exposed to these when and where as an RN working in Milwaukee?

Congrats Darling2013!
Hey Damiorifice,
I bought the eBook for the Ab.Psych class but, it didn't come with the access code. I went on Cengage Learning but, it wasn't helpful. I remember you mentioned you watched the videos for the course. Were you talking abt the video left by the professor from Coopersmith? Or, you got the access code? I've been trying to buy the access code for the course but, I still can't find it. Amazon doesn't have it. If you bought one , would you mind telling me where I can buy it too please?
Thanks

Speed read the book, then watch the video left by the Coopersmith instructor at least 2X. If you handle it, set the playback speed to 2.0. Being forced to follow at a higher rate of speed will cause you to remember more.

How are you paying for school if you don't mind me asking? Im counting on financial aid but not sure if we'll be receiving enough to cover living expenses as well.
GI Bill.
otherwise it would be graduate plus loans and private loans. It’s doable. The faster you get to work the faster you make $$.
