  1. @greenbluegray, you're right.
  2. @londonflo, thanks for the clarification! At least you took your time to explain and brrak it down! It seems like no one wants to answer questions in this school. We either get some bad attitudes as a response or we get ignored. My assessment grades are in the 80s (without homework or quizes) so far. I was wondering if I don't do well in the last one, if they will fail me for that 1 assessment ! While my quizes and 3 assessment grade average are above 80%. @damiorifice just don't let @greenbluegray see your comment, your highness. We all need knowledgeable people to take care of us...That's why we're paying an institution to teach us, and guide us when it's needed...To get an adequate learning experience there should be a good program plan and a good support from the school....They are unorganized, and keep changing plans on students at the last minute! What they say by mouth is different than what you read on your email (if you even receive one). Jumping and changing a learning system abruptly without any explanation (like we didn't exist or matter) and expect a positive outcome, won't work. You can't expect your future nurse to know how to adminster your heparin drip properly if the institution where the nurse is learning is upside down/unorganized ! At the same time, having 80% in assessments doesn't mean that a student will be a great nurse or, a great doctor ! Some of them are ! But, a lot of A's students, now doctors and nurses are killing people out there! They are cold harded ! No compassion, no empathy! I don't define people's competence by their grades only! Some people are just not good test takers while they know what they're doing ! While some are good at taking tests and become killers, rather than healers! I don't use grades to define someone's performance. Each person has a learning style and a test taking style. Just saying ! I don't mind the fact that the administration is changing the learning & teaching format, but, they do it in a dictatorship way. Like we're the cause of the way the previous administration lead the school. They can't expect a positive feedback like that, by being rude to us and imposing what they want abruptly like that.
  3. I live out of State. By the time I move to WI, we'll be done with finals. I was trying to schedule during office hours but, via zoom...since, I'm not in WI yet.
  4. @KeyzLocs good luck. You'll see what we're going through. LOL @greenbluegray, our Pharm prof this semester is a man. I saw an email that was sent today about dropping classes before finals.....So, if we drop a class, does it mean that we're dropping out of the program? The thing is, nobody from that school want to answer your question. That's what pissed me off.
  5. I emailed one of my professors 4 times to have a zoom meeting w. That professor never replied! I emailed after 1st, 2nd, and 3rd assessment! I emailed this morning too....Nada. I'm just going to drop this class. It's a bunch of nonsense while I'm paying all this money....to get what? Ignored? My laptop is out of memory right now by downloading all these stuff they put on Moodle. They lied to me about tuition. They told me the tuition was 52k before I got accepted.....One month after starting the program, someone said the program tuition increased while I NEVER received a (n) letter/email about it. I'm justngoing to drop this class and transfer.
  6. Wait, you're saying for Pharm, it's 80% overall grade right ? The reason why I asked is because some students said the 80% is the average for the 4 assessments, which doesn't include quizes, and projects. So, it doesn't matter if we got an average of 90% on the other assignments, they won't count it. I've nevwr heard something like that before! All the nursing programs I know request an average of 80% to pass each class, which include quizzes and homework....but, the people in this school do whatever they want, while we don't get much information when we asked questions. Or, they just ignored our emails.
  7. That annoying and sucks. What about Pharm this semester? Are quizzes included?
  8. @greenbluegray, you and @Damiorifice better not start it again. ? @greenbluegray, is it true if your average grade for assessments isn't 80%, but your average for everything else for thay class is 80-100%, you still fail the class ? What's the point on making us take quizzes every week, do project when these grades don't even count toward our final grades ??? We could focus more on the assessments and practice questions to pass these assessments, rather than wasting our time. They're just failing us.
  9. @damiorifice right. It's like we're kindergarten kids. I'm just so ready to transfer to another school. I want to graduate and start working but, it's like they're failing us. @KeyzLocs Are you sure we start the MSN program on the 3rd semester ? I thought it was 4th semester though. I'll double check. I was working when she sent it last night. How are you doing with Patho and Pharm ?
  10. @Lizzie Moreno, I am almost at the end of my first semester. I was on a waitlist too because Summer was already full. Be ready for Pathophysiology and Pharmacology. They'll be your most challenging classes but, you can do it. Just don't give up on studying, and change your study habit if your 1st grade for these too classes are heart breaking. Take care.
  11. @damiorifice, true. It's cheaper than the programs in my State. That's why I'm making the sacrifice to move to WI.
  12. @damiorifice, I was told the same too about getting back on campus this Fall 2021.
  13. @greenbluegray, thanks for your answer. Wait, the enrollment representative told me the entire program is like 52 or 53k ? I was also told that Summer session 2021 will be online, and courses will go back to face to face mode this Fall 2021. Basically, we'll be back on campus this Fall semester.
  14. @damiorifice, thanks. @summer123, I've heard that too. They did mention (indirectly) something like that during orientation.
  15. OK, you guys are scaring me even more.?‍♀️? I'm starting next month! This Summer 2021! My orientation was 2 days ago, and I started questioning myself about it and the school. The orientation wasn't what I expected at all. I thought I would have zoom meeting where the professors would be talking live to us, but it wasn't that. It was a bunch of Youtube video links they took from other youtubers taling about nursing school, a bunch of pdf forms to download, 1 forum to say gi to everybody and that's all. Does that mean my courses will be same ? No recorded videos or live online interactions with the professors ? Is that where my loans will go to? Summer123, what does UMSON stand for?
