All FSCJ Spring 2013 Hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone! I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing if there is anyone excited about applying to the fscj RN program spring 2013. I am currently taking a microbiology class this summer. I would have applied for fall 2012 but met with some technical difficulties. I have 206 in total points w/o micro. Let's stay in touch and keep this ball rolling!

I think we're all gonna be going through the same thing lol =) to know that theres nothing else we can do but wait is just nerve wrecking!! Good luck to everyone!! Hope we find out closer to 6 than 8 weeks =)

I called North campus, they said you have until October 15 to turn in your CPR Cert. but the application is still due October 1. I may apply i just learned today that you need to be CPR certified, plus im being induced on October 2, so not sure if i will even have time to get certified!! so fustrated with FSCJ right now. Also I only have 186 points, do you think that would be enough?

@macym -- You came too far to give up now! Turn the application in! The points are something you can't change right now and besides, the acceptance level varies from semester to semester.

As for CPR...it can be done. If you deliver on Oct 2nd, you should have recovered well enough by Oct 15th to take the 4 hr class.

The most important question you should be contemplating now is - "do you have the support in place to really help you when classes start?" If the answer is yes - please join us.

You can do this!

Hey everyone ! I'm so glad I found this ! I just turned in my application today with 205.96 points ! Good luck to everyone out there :)

Dropped off all of my documents and application yesterday! Just over 8 weeks until we find out! Submitted with 206.28 points!

Specializes in Med Surg, PCU, Travel.

With these scores everyone is posting seems like we will all get in. I hope the classrooms are big enough:yes:

And for those who have not already...SEND IN YOUR APPLICATION!!! lol 2 days left, Friday and Monday is deadline!

I applied with a 205 & some change (not sure of the exact number) for Daytime schedule. What schedule & points did everyone else apply with/request? Hope to meet some of you all in the next few months

I think you'll be pretty solid with a score like that :) Well done!! I'm hoping to get into the N/W schedule with 220pts & some change. I wonder if we will be hearing through emails, or letters this go around...shoot, I'm looking out for a carrier pigeon at this point ;) Good luck everyone!!

Thanks! I heard for the Spring 2012 they actually got emails through FSCJ before they got their letters in the mail. But I remember seeing it took longer for them to get theirs b/c the nursing school got a new director or something!! I'm hoping it only takes 6-7 weeks max!!

I applied for N/W. I had 218 points. I am hoping that is enough for N/W. I heard there is only twenty something spots for N/W. Anyone sure on that? Days would be pretty tough to pull off for my family, but either way we will make it work. Good luck everyone. I am so excited I can't wait to hear the news and then start getting the needed materials. I already started looking at what people recommend for class.

There are only 24 seats available for N/W!! I'm pretty sure our scores are quite competitive though :) I'm just trying to stay in the positive over here lol

Everyone seems to be applying for nights/weekends, anyone apply for days?
