from what i have seen, a lot of us here are parents or in their 30s. so i was quite curious.
for me, i'm 17 gong 18. i'm only 9 months into my nursing course. in singapore, almost majority of the nurses start studying at 17 or 18 years old.
Nursing? I started the pre-reqs at 17 (when I graduated high school). I start my program in a few days (whoo hooooo!!!!!) and I just turned 21. I sat around for a year taking some under water basket weaving classes if you know what I mean... but it sure isn't a race. I would have just turned 23 when I finish with my BSN.
But... I didn't always want to be a nurse! I started off wanting to be a paramedic, so I took my EMT a few months after I turned 16.
In reference to a few posts before me: I don't think it could ever be too late to start doing something you love! :redpinkhe
