Well the paperwork and interview are finished and I'm just waiting to see if I get in. Just wanted to start this thread for others in the Nov 2011 boards and see who the competition is. ;) Good luck to everyone.

Oh, a quick rundown on me. I'm 33 with 2 years ICU, ER, and Supervisor experience graduating with my BSN in May 2012. I'm seeking anykind of commissioning but hopefully a flight or ICU position. I'm an active individual so not really worried about the PT, just ready to get going serving my country.

She had 4 recruits. 3 were selected. one was first runner up if someone bails out. so, basically, she got all of her recruits in.

We didn't talk about the total number but, i hear that it is around 70 ppl.

my duty station will be Eglin, Fl

Congrats JJTRN! Congrats to everyone so far who got selected. I think my recruiter is off for the holiday, I texted him and asked if he received any word and received no response. I think it may be bad news yet I just want to know. My NP program starts January 4th if I do not get in and is my back up so I am waiting anxiously. It is just so hard to work or focus on anything else when I know they have an answer. Oh well, it is what it is! Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow to everyone:)

Ok, I am oficially obscessing now. But I think 4 people have heard back and 6 of us have not yet. Anyone out of NC? I will put stressing on hold at 1700 (eastern time) then take it back up Monday morning. Happy Thanks giving everyone!

Thats awesome. You are going to love Eglin AFB. I was stationed there for 4 years when I was active duty (Enlisted). Most of the housing was built a few years ago and the hospital also had some renovations not long ago. That is also my first choice but I still have to wait a few more months to get the results. I am dying to find out. Happy thanksgiving.

Bypass RN, I'm from VA but I worked with a NC recruiter. I can do about 5 pushups!! I have a lot of work to do. I better get to it:)

Nautticca, congrats on your selection! There is a great push-ups app for smartphones by Rittr Labs that will help you increase your number of push-ups. They have one for sit-ups as well. My current PT regimen at home is to run a mile each day, and then I do sit-ups one day and push-ups the other. The apps will help you get up to something like 50 push-ups and 100 sit-ups. If you're consistent in doing them, you will see improvement! I did better on my sit-ups (my weakest area) on my last PT test in October after doing these apps. I do more than my required push-ups, but I'm using that app to improve anyway. I have these apps on an Android phone, but I think they're available for the iPhone as well.

Ok, I would love to know who your NC recruiter is. Mine is from NC too, Raleigh. I thought there was just one. Please tell me yours is not from Raleigh. Mine just text me that she is not in the office and that the info was just loaded today.

Sorry Atlrn86, I did not mean petty, I meant peppy. That looks so rude, and I am SO sorry for that. You sound happy!
