  1. Thank you
  2. Thanks, I tried emailing her. If she doesn't respond would you be willing to sell me your book?:)
  3. Thank you for your reply. Would you happen to have the review book from Linda Juretsche's course. I am a NICU nurse in the Air Force currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan. It is impossible for me to make it to one of her review classes. I am scheduled to take the RNC exam in Sept. and just trying to get a head start on studying..
  4. I am currently studying for the RNC exam. I read the review class by Linda Juretsche is helpful. Anyone know anything about this class
  5. That would be awesome if we could finally get our orders. I still need to purchase a few uniform items, get passports and get TMO set up. I am slightly overwhelmed, but excited at the same time. 11 DAYS TO GO!!!
  6. @soonermiller- I just received the paperwork for physicals for my husband and children. Have you started working on your passport yet?
  7. I agree. Are you having the commissioning at your house or are you doing it somewhere else? I plan on having it at my house with about 20 family members, having some food catered and just enjoying each other. I will be heading across the world for my first duty station so I want to make sure I spend some quality time with my family
  8. Haha!!! Are you having a small intimate commissioning or something a little larger. I'm having the hardest time trying to get this thing planned
  9. My recruiter is in Raleigh NC. Where is yours?
  10. Yes I will be heading to Montgomery also. I received the ok to commission from my recruiter this past Tuesday. I still have to send her all the information (location, personal info of person doing the commissioning and the date I selected).
  11. Yes I also had to wait for scroll approval. It took about a month or so. I am scheduled to go to COT on Feb. 28
  12. Thank you for your response. My uncle(retired Army) will do the commissioning, do you think they will allow him to do it on an Air force base? Or should I just have him do it at my home? Sorry for all the questions but I'm so confused how this whole process is supposed to play out. I know it's very special and I will cherish it for a long time.
  13. I'm hoping someone can help me out with these questions, as I am set to commission as a 1st LT. In the Air Force within the next month.1. Is there a particular location the commissioning ceremony should take place?2. What is the appropriate attire? Blues or collared shirt and slacks? I was thinking civilian clothes because I haven't been taught the proper way to wear the service blues uniform. However, I would love to have my bars pinned on my uniform by my husband and dad. Just not sure what's allowed.3. After commissioning how long does it usually take to receive orders. It's my understanding that everything comes to a halt without them? Thanks for taking to time to answer my questions, I appreciate it:)
  14. Hi Clarabow, this is totally off the topic but I'm going to be PCSing to Japan early next year. If you don't mind me asking where are you stationed? And how is Japan?
  15. Hi!!!! I too am headed to COT in february
