Well the paperwork and interview are finished and I'm just waiting to see if I get in. Just wanted to start this thread for others in the Nov 2011 boards and see who the competition is. ;) Good luck to everyone.

Oh, a quick rundown on me. I'm 33 with 2 years ICU, ER, and Supervisor experience graduating with my BSN in May 2012. I'm seeking anykind of commissioning but hopefully a flight or ICU position. I'm an active individual so not really worried about the PT, just ready to get going serving my country.

Got the good news today. Going to COT Feb 28 and being stationed in Mississippi for critical care.

FYI, according to my recruiter, they got word early last week but waited to make calls today when they officially got assignments attached to the selected applicants. He was on vacation this week and was nice enough to call.

Real excited, hope to hear that others on here get news soon.

do not let this discourage you. you can still apply for next year. for now i wish you the best.... i hope that everyone else makes it……congrats bypass-rn on the selection. i hope i can get in. my board (msc) meets next week (nov 28-dec 2). i put january cot but as long as i get selected i don’t mind waiting for a later cot class date… let’s see what happens. best wishes and happy holidays to everyone.

Hello Everyone,

I just recieved my call. I'm in! I go to the Feb. COT and I got my first base choice.

What a relief to finally know!

By the way, for those still waiting to hear from your recruiter...they probably already know. My recruiter was aware last week but couldn't say. She called me today while on leave for Thanksgiving.

(I thought that I heard an answer hidden in her voice last week but I was unsure what to make of it)

I hope everyone hears the answer that they wanted and that your recruiters get back to you sooner rather than later.

WOW Congrats! I wish mine would tell me. Did your recruiter say how many they accepted? Also, is anyone who was accepted for med/surge? Just trying to see what area people are getting into. What was your duty station?

She had 4 recruits. 3 were selected. one was first runner up if someone bails out. so, basically, she got all of her recruits in.

We didn't talk about the total number but, i hear that it is around 70 ppl.

my duty station will be Eglin, Fl
