ADN Fall 2011 Hopefuls!!!

I wanted to start a thread for those of you who have or will apply to ADN programs for the Fall 2011 semester. I have started the process but I have completed my application yet. I am nervous and super stressed. Join this thread so we can vent together. Share our journeys into nursing school.

I am hoping to get into the school that notifies later also, but the first school requires a deposit to hold your spot? I wonder how many schools have deposits

The LPN school Im accepted to requires a deposit if I choose to go there..as well as the ADN..if i accept I have to send them a deposit..but I dont know how much it is.

I am sorry friends...

I do not know anything about a deposit. As long as you have your books, tuition, uniforms, and other supplies by the first day of class, you are straight.

I'm not aware of any deposit to hold your spot...at least not to either of the schools I have applied to.

My school has a deposit. They use it to hold your spot and then they apply it toward your tuition. It helps rule out those people that say yes and then don't end up going there.

I suppose if one got an acceptance to a particular school, and in two to three weeks was notified that they were accepted into that one as well...your DEPOSIT would be confirmation to the school in which you were hoping to "get into" As I said in my previous post for me the "latter" is the one I'm hoping and praying to be accepted into!:rolleyes: and if they required some monetary deposit, I'd be there...cash in hand!

How is everyone doing?

2 more weeks and im DONE with AP...im so excited!! I actually started putting my application together a couple of days ago..deciding who to use as reference and getting my short essay ready.

I also received my TEAS V study guide..been going through the math portion..so not my fav subject :down: I find some of the explanations lacking..but have been able to fill in the holes with my good friend GOOGLE!! :D

I have physiology final monday and anatomy final wed. I am sooo ready to be done with this semester and get into nursing school. :smokin:

next week is a study week for me..no assignments except a chapter to read..then the week after is my AP final.
