Hi there,

I am a BMCC Student thinking of tranfering to Adelphi for Spring 08. By then I will have all of my Pre-clinicals Finished. So what I really have is 3 more years to go, my question is, is it possible to finish BSN in Adelphi in less than 3 years, considering I take summer courses as well.

-Thanks

As long as they accept your credits (do you have 2 chems, microbio, A&P I and II, arts/humanities/english/etc?), you should have no problem graduating in about 3 years-last I heard, they offered clinicals and other nsg. courses over the summer.

Again, you said you have all your pre-clinicals? I'm guessing you mean prereqs, unless you took Human Assesment and all those nsg classes too?

A little tip-if person X says s/he can't accept suchandsuch a credit, go to a higher up. Even if it means speaking with a dean eventually. That's how I got a few of my credits accepted.

Good luck.

Thanks a lot for the information, and about the courses, i meant I have everything u mentioned.

Financial aid will not cover everything but a close friend of mine who graduated from there did get scholarships. Also, dont forget that hospitals will pay back your school loans after graduation.

Has anyone taken Adelphi's NET exam. If so How was it?????

Are there any prereqs and if so, what are they?

I have a BA and a LPN certificate. I don't have the sciences. Does Adelphi accept ANY testing/challenging out for Chemistry, A&P, or Microbiology?

Does anyone have an idea how long would it take me to get a BSN from Adelphi?

Can anyone tell me about their experience @ Adelphi?

How long it takes to finish the program...requirements...if you would rec. again?

Thanks :)
