Hey Student! I was interested in th Nursing porgram, but the tuition discouraged me from considering Adelphi.What GPA do you need to have inorder to get accepted as a Nursing major.If Im not mistaking, at Adelphi, You progress to the upper division after you have finished the prereqs..etc. right?Inorder words, there is no application to be filled out once you finish you prereqs.Im not sure though, can you give me nore info? Can I get a scholarship? what GPA would you need to have to get a scholarship?You may send me a PM if you wish.Thanks!

I was thinking about applying for Adelphi this Spring 2007. I'm curious, what is the tuition there? I heard all you need is a 3.0 to get in.

Yes, 3.0+....The tuition is about $20,000.You start with nursing courses as early as your sophmore yr.

hi student! i'm interested in applying to adelphi myself as well, but as a transfer student. did u have to take the NET exam? i'm caught in a net of decision making about what schools to apply to. i'm past the nursing school application deadline. now if i apply to adelphi the school the itself while completing some of its prerequisites do u think I can progress to the nursing program?

im planning to enter adelphi THIS FALL 2007..i already finish all the preclinicals.. do you think i could get in nursing prog right away? and how many more yrs do you think i will need to graduate in associates deg?

to get into a adelphi you need atleast a 3.0. when i spoke to an admissions counselor she mentioned that they were accepting applicants with over 3.2 gpa. their program has gotten more rigourous. you will also need to take the net exam. once in the program you must maintain a 77 average but i heard from my friend that attends that may soon change to 80. there are also another set of exams that students must pass which counts toward their overall grade in their nursing course.

the nursing program in adelphi, is it just BSN or they also offer ADN?

do they also have LPN prog?

There is no LPN and no ADN. It is BS only. (MSN too)

If you are eligable for financial aid, Adelphi will accept it, but with $20k tuition, it's very doubtful that financial aid will cover everything.

Hi there,

I am a BMCC Student thinking of tranfering to Adelphi for Spring 08. By then I will have all of my Pre-clinicals Finished. So what I really have is 3 more years to go, my question is, is it possible to finish BSN in Adelphi in less than 3 years, considering I take summer courses as well.

i applied to the night program at the nyc campus for spring 08. all of my pre-reqs are done. so now all i have to do is send in my personal statement and register for the net which i plan to take on september 30th. i really want to do good on the net because my gpa is a 3.0 so i hope that would boost my chances. good luck to all!!!
